Tennesse Front Office/Coaching staff (1 Viewer)

In the beginning of the season the speculation was that Fischer, or Reese of both would be fired. That Norman Chow was a disaster as an NFL OC, that Schwartz was ineffective.

Now, at the tail end of the season with the offense sporadically showing signs of life, with the defense showing up, with Young shining for all (except LHUCKS) to see, having won 8 of the last 10 - who goes?

Fischer is still a declared option away from coaching in TEN in 2007.

Chow gets a lot of credit for his work on Young and for having withstood the injuries to the receiverTE core.

Schwartz' defensive side singlehandedly won the JAX game

What about Reese - looking at his drafts since 2004 he has come up with decent players:

2004 - an improvement over 2002/2003 (which were horrible), yielded Troupe, Laboy, Starks and Jacob Bell

2005 - Pacman, Roos, Roby, Jones, Scaife, Hill, Fuller have all seen starting time and Pacman is obviously becoming the guy they wanted with the #6 pick

2006 - Young, White, Tulloch and Finnegan and the jury si still out on players like Nande, Orr

So is it a done deal that Reese or someone from the coaching staff is gone?

I am not so sure after all

Let's not forget that Reese also brought Henry to the Titans... and that he's probably responsible for overpaying Givens. In other words, he seems to be a free-swinging hacker. Either he hits one out of the park or swings and misses badly.

There has been speculation that Reese wanted Cutler over Young or Leinart. There has also been talk that Reese wanted Young and helped show Adams why he should order the move. I would wager that if the latter is true, he'll be back. If it isn't, he's the one guy who could be out the door.

It is my guess that the only big departure is Reese. I actually think he leaves of his own accord.

Titans could see some smaller changes -- not real sure about Sherman as WR coach.

Here is what I think happens: Titans don't make Fisher GM (nor would I want that) but they do give him more say in the moves. They put together some arrangement like Belicheck/Pioli.

Listen -- 11 draft picks and at least $48mm dollars under the cap = huge opportunity/huge responsibility.
