Pathetic opening defense. Texnas did nothing special and the Titans couldn't stop em'

Woods was released this week. Austin JOhnson is inactive. They couldn't pull starter Al Woods with no huddle. Finally did for Klug at about the 50 and Texans only had one good run after. Clearly an anyone but Woods scenario

 
Murray pausing when he runs. It would not be 4th and 1 if he didn't.

71 yard punt. Geesh Kern never gets any love but is one of the best. There's a 60-70 yarder every week

 
Nice play to Griffin and the TD was beautifully scripted. Titans safeties all fell for it. Cox clearly passed Fuller off but safeties weren't there due to fake.

Geesh 3 TDs allowed in 3 weeks, now 2 TDs allowed "like that"

 
Run game got going there and Fowler was in, who knew the FB could block

Mariota hasn't rolled yet. He's got legs coach

Wright was all the news this week. Just got in with 2:47 left for 3rd down slot, Mariota didn't even look at him

Mariota had enough time. Not good not bad, make a decision! That was not bad line play we've become accustomed to. 

This is Mariota's 16th game BTW

 
Mariota is getting the Archie Manning Syndrome where he plays for coaches who just aren't offensive innovators. You get a player like that you build an offense around his skills. I just don't see it here.

I like the college-y plays. It seemed like Wright's college coach did a lot of good spending four days with them last season. Whenever they do em' it looks good

Otherwise, totaly agree

 
Thus far it's been way too congested in the center of the field as expected. Titans gotta do something outside, it's ridiculous

I'm not sure if DeAndre Hopkins has even got a look. There's been so many snap N throws, it's quite possible he hasn't. What their doing is working, just saying

 
Titans are totally giving the Texans what they want. O'Brien clearly has a plan where if Woods, rookie Dodd, and Spence are in, then they are going hurryup to keep them on the field.

Bad NT, rook OLB, ILB bad in coverage, totally makes sense. Very simple yet Lebeau keeps getting stuck with a bad group on field

Results wise, outstanding.

Hes done nothing fancy. Stepped back a step from the slot, caught it, and bolted for 28 yards.

A simple curl on cox, while cox  watched

Over the middle nice grab was probably the best play

It's just all his blinding speed really. He's making eh plays into something special

 
yeah see the outside is there when you run a million plays over the middle. Nice play Matthews

Mariota looks like garbage the last couple games.

He's finally moving around and oh he should have kept it there

 
Hopkins mighty mitts totally gave that INT away. Wow he almost pulled off quite a grab.

Brock doesn't need to fire it that hard like that, if so at his chest not high

 
Texans 29 Hail??? out injured from Mariota slide into his hand. Don't dive at a sliding QB, geesh

 
Fowler in and it's a TD, again so predictably well when he's in.

Titans O really moved well. If you discount the INT and figure one long drive, that would have been a nice drive.

Texans dopey to leave Murray uncovered on a screen. He's done a zillion of them with the Titans, that's gotta be expected

As Titans kick, Texans should go back to Fuller. There was zero reason to stop

 
Spence on Strong is ridiculous. Texans didn't even shift or do anything to set that up. Titans literally chose to have a LB cover a WR

 
Nice job Mariani. "Everyone" lets that go and gets pinned. Catching it at the 10 and getting nailed really is better

 
Hey there's Kendall. I think that's only his second snap. Harry Douglas(not that I'm a fan) is inactive so Wright can play and he's barely been in

 
Reason they should have kept DGB or Hunter- Mariota knows no one today. Barely played with Wright, 3 games with Matthews, Sharpe, and Andre. He gets nervous and forces to Walker every time. Could have left him one guy he was familiar with

 
Blake can't cover, angry they kept him, claimed it was special teams. Huge penalty there by him. Worst signing ever

 
Texans watched too much Titans tape. Copying their "ignore the great athletes and throw to meh TEs instead" style

 
Can't they show a replay that includes the play clock?

It either looks like OBrien should have paid attention while arguing or he's right and they gave them "no time" to execute a FG

Yeah I wasn't paying attention to the delay, no idea they started the clock already until it was at 9 seconds. Not sure how that transpired.

 
Bass not Morgan or Dodd, settled down that OLB spot the Texans were attacking. 

Titans have Riggs out with hammy, Reed and Simms on PS. Time for some new blood at CB next week

Cox was phenomenal early last season. Held WRs to zero catches in games. About midway through he lost it and has stunk ever since.

Cox and Spence have been terrible. Texans have thrown at Fuller/Strong/TE because that's who they were covering. They're completing such a high percent when they go there, there's been no reason to go elsewhere. Two passes to Hopkins were almost forced

 
Nice D by 21 Foye? there. Predictable pass to Walker, but just the same he was all over him and played it perfectly
