Texans' RB's? (1 Viewer)

Ahman Green- Knee has been jacked up for a few weeks now. May be limited or not play in week 4.

Ron Dayne- Has gotten 13 and 18 carries in weeks 1 and 2 before sitting out week 3 with an injury.

Samkon Gado- #3 on the depth chart. No real value at this point.

So how is everyone treating this situation? Are you guys making any moves, or is it too early to tell how the backfield will pan out? They play the falcons in week 4 which should bode well for whichever RB starts for the Texans. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

dayne is the back you want.

he will get the goal line opportunities but how many are we going to get without AJ. easy to put 8 in the box.

still don't consider him a viable rb#2.

I really can't understand Houston's fascination with slow as molasses fat ron dayne. It prevents me from speculation on of all people.... Gado.

True, ron dayne a is fat sludge-drudger, but not a bad option if he gets goal-line carries on top of the 10+ per game.

Can you imagine the #'s if it was a good RB? Same year in Chris Taylor's only start: 20 - 99 1 TD. 4.9 ypc. Dayne's stats were nothing I didn't already know. Why do you think I have alwasy said that David Carr sucks. They have a good OL and Carr made it look bad. Do you actually think that Dayne and Taylor could post those #'s with the supposedly crappy OL that some people claimed was the problem?

:goodposting: Say what you want about Dayne, and he's not a good RB, but he can perform well in small doses. As noted, he was very impressive last year. He seems to work well within Kubiak's offense, as he also played well for Denver at times.
