After using Firefox for years and years it pains me to say this, but, after you finally get rid of this thing dump Firefox and switch to Crome. Firefox extensions and add-ons just beg for these things.

ETA: Fresh windows install fixes everything.

I'm about to go the other way. From Chrome to Firefox.

Chrome has been constantly crashing and is super slow compared to Chrome.

Plus all the tracking Google does is ridiculous

It sounds like this thing isn't being recognized as a virus/malware. Not sure if SLB backed up his Firefox bookmarks and uninstalled/reinstalled Firefox yet.

I tried that before posting, didn't work.

-Look for the tool that you want to get rid of. If it's there just select it and hit remove

I purposely re-installed the malware and installed IObit and it removed it. SO FREAKING HAPPY. Thank you!!
