Thanks to all who donated towards mental illness awareness through my link, and for those who were tired of seeing it, the link will be down by the weekend as this fundraiser comes to a close.
In all, they have raised almost $13 million for the cause, $250,000 from my area of the country. I personally raised just over $2000. Most importantly, I had 75 donations, which means 75 people who believe in the cause.
I had a blog at one time on various topics...mostly jokes, recipes and other such things. The idea was to donate all proceeds from ad clicks to mental health. Unfortunately, the blog didn't take off. When this opportunity at work came around, I tried my best to do my part. I don't benefit in any way financially, just from the satisfaction of helping someone else.
Anyway thanks to you and those that also inquired.
