That (1) Player.....mid to late round pick, you are going to target in (1 Viewer)

last year I drank the Ben Watson kool aid and targeted him in every draft.... and when I left the draft I was excited almost thinking I knew something the other owners didn't and that he really completed my roster........

not really a sleeper, but just that one guy at this point you think you have to have.........

and you may even reach a little for him because of it......

for me, I think Drew Bennett has the potential to be that guy for me this year.....not a sexy pick, but could have a year like Stockley did a few years ago as a WR3 on a team.....and I could see him really tapping in to Bruce's receptions....

Your Mom.

sorry i always see people use this and i wanted to give it a shot..

man i forgot about Watsons hype train last year. my guy last year was Musa Smith b/c i kept thinking ok someone has to realize jamal is done..never happened.

my guy this year is not a mid rounder but ill say it anyways. Ahman Green. just love his value relative to ADP. i think last years numbers are his floor. Good receiving back, Kubiak on board, improving team, like the division, Ron Dayne is the competition, etc etc. Love Ahman this year. high end RB2 numbers for RB3 price

As a STL homer, I hope you are right, but I'm not sure this will be the year Bruce falls and Bennett steps in. I think I like the '08 Bennett better. Honestly, I like the guy Bennett replaced much better this year. With an ADP currently around 110-115, I think Kevin Curtis can be had as a WR3/4 and could put up WR2 fantasy #'s this year. I have added him in every draft I've had so far this year.

Devery Henderson

745 yds & 6 TD's in 13 games with Joe Horn still around...sounds like a good risk in the latter stages of the mid rounds.

Wes Welker
How can you ever like *any* Pats WR? It's like a crapshoot on a weekly basis w/ them...
Based on what? Previous years with no solid #1 WR? It's a different team now. With Moss and Stallworth stretching the field, Welker could see plenty of underneath passes and he has the ability to pick up some solid yardage. Couple that with a PPR league and he's about as good of a 11th round WR that you'll find.

Anthony Thomas
I like this one A LOT. Although I think Lynch will be great this year, this will be an RBBC all the way. He can be had for a bag of rocks right now. With their rebuilt O-line and a favorable playoff schedule, I can see him being this years D McAllister.

I also think Anthony Thomas is great value.RBBC with AT getting the goal line carries.Remember that **** Jauron was head coach with the Bears when Thomas was there therefore knows what he is getting.

I was targeting Deion Branch this year - but he got picked in round 8 just before it was my turn. I wound up with DJ Hackett in round 9 of all things - he was basically the last serviceable WR on the board. :football:

Greg Jenningsalso have to grab Gates in the 3rd in every draft if he's available
I was going take him high too. Unfortunately, he went in the early 2nd round lol. The guy that took him is no fool either - he's back-to-back champs.

Like the possibilites of Bennett and Moulds having good years. Pick up Bennett at 11.12 and Moulds at 16.01 in a 3 keeper league draft.

Mark Clayton, WR (BAL)

He's a solid pick this year and in the mocks I've done, he's going in the 6th, 7th and 8th rounds a lot of the time. That is terrific value for a guy that will likely post numbers in the ballpark of 1000 yards, 6-8 TDs...maybe more.

In a 12-teamer...

Round 5 - Marc Bulger - he seems to be going in the 4th of many recent mocks

Round 6 - Tatum Bell - has a chance to hold onto the RB job if KJ can't get healthy

Round 7 - Jon Kitna - if I miss out on Bulger in round 5

Round 8 - LenDale White - I have a gut feeling about him this year (no pun intended), or Chris Cooley

Round 9 - CHI D, or Witten, if the remaining top TE's are gone

Round 10 - Brett Favre as my QB2

Not really a late pick but I want Calvin Johnson on my teams this year. Just have a feeling he is going to blow up on the scene, especially with Roy getting the double coverage to boot.

The only problem I have with that is that Calvin will have to learn Martz's complex system before he will play a lot.

Holt stepped into Martz's system and did pretty well as a rookie (despite being the 3rd option at best on that '99 Rams team). Not saying that Johnson will be as good as Holt, but given the dedication, it (thriving in Martz's offense in Year 1) can happen.

Losman

Perhaps Williamson late

I'd like to end up with Vernon Davis, but I think he's about to climb up draft boards with a quickness.
