I am getting so sick of watching these NFL rules kill our football. That was a great playoff football hit that set the tone for the team now could cost them points.
Three points which should have been punt NO ball. They are changing the game for the worse. N.O. should have the ball and be fired up right now. I can't stand these calls.

Lot's a bad personal foul calls in the NFL this year. Ridiculous that a WR can duck last second and draw a flag. That said, you posted this a minute after one of the most obvious H2H calls I've ever seen (hit to Harvin in the playoff game)- a clear penalty that absolutely deserved a flag.
I just am frustrated. I got fired up with that hit. In games past that would have set the tone for the game. Jumped up and said WHooooooohhh. Yeah, nice hit. Then flag. Just sucks that's all.

HELLO. This is the reality of the league today. All the new concussion info is exposing the league to litigation with huge financial repercussions. The league MUST change or law suits will kill it. Period. If you do not embrace the evolution you will continue to be frustrated. Your only other option is to stop watching the games.
Not every game will be reffed the same, just saying the rules remain intact, ESPECIALLY anything that involves helmet to helmet. Just don't see how anyone is surprised by that call, that's all.
It just looks more and more like the refs are calling fouls by they way the hit looks and the sound of the crowd more than the contact with the head. If the hit is violent and snaps the head back they call the PF regardless if there was head to head contact. It just seems to me that intrinsically the defense has the right to protect the middle of the field with necessary roughness to keep receivers honest. That's playing sound defense. Always has been and always should be. Receivers knew that going over the middle was a right of passage and do so unawares at your own peril. Was a measure of a receivers toughness and QB's had to have skill in putting the ball in a place to not only make the completion but protect the receiver at the same time. Your not going to be able to legislate by rules the violence of the game. It's just too fast, which makes it impossible to react to what a WR does at the last second before impact. You have to pick a spot and hit the guy. What is going to start happening is players are going to start going low like the Gronk hit and we are going to start seeing more gruesome lower leg injuries. In fact, Gronk's knee should have exploded and hinged backward when they safety came up full speed and took out his legs as he was planting in full stride. Frankly, I don't want to see that and would much rather a guy come up and hit me high than low. I just think the adjustment to these new rules are going to make for some really devastating and crippling leg injuries.
Further example was the Vernon Davis hit today. Shoulder to shoulder hit, PF, first down SF. Horrible call.
