You left out the most important stat (as Charger fans well know): "He is 6-of-6 all-time in the Big 12 championship games and 14-of-14 in postseason games."Draft preview: Nebraska kicker Alex Henery
Bailey had the early lead, but it evened out recently. Plus they still have an injured Kai Forbath lurking in the background. Probably a slight edge to the healthy Bailey at the moment.Who is the favorite to win the Dallas K job? Will Buehler retain it when healthy or is Bailey the favorite regardless?
Probably about the same time you were posting this, I was fine-tuning my projections. I currently have him at 5th. Last year the Saints were 11th (accounting for Hartley's 14 games and Carney's 2 games). I'm presuming Hartley won't have another slump this year, and will get back into the top ten.P.S. we'll now need to monitor his health status after last night's injury...'Jail said:Mike, you have Hartley projected as the #2 guy this year. Why are you expecting such a big jump from last year?
If I were forced to go with a Dallas kicker at this juncture, I'd go with Bailey. But any one of them is risky fantasy pick right now.'da_budman said:Mike... after last nights game any educated guess as to who the Dallas kicker will be? I think this is the most curius question left out there at kicker.
In the words of Jaguars kicker Josh Scobee:"So the Dallas Cowboys currently have 5 kickers on their roster....wow!"Any updates on the Cowboys kicker situation?

I have until midnight tomorrow to decide whether or not to cut Rayner and/or Shayne Graham...With a nod to Bill Parcell's philosophy on quarterbacks... if you have 5 kickers on your roster, you don't have a kicker. In the words of Jaguars kicker Josh Scobee:"So the Dallas Cowboys currently have 5 kickers on their roster....wow!"
He didn't fair too well last night, but I think he'll do okay. He, along with a kickoff specialist (Lloyd), were "replaced" by a pretty good player (Mare) that can handle both roles, thus freeing up a roster spot for some offensive or defensive player (although I don't really understand why anyone would want more of those). How will kasay fair? Wasnt he recently beat out by somebody average?
The last I heard Tynes was expected back for the opener, but that was awhile ago and certainly not definitive.Any news on if Tynes plays opening week?I'm pretty peeved right now that in a deep league I carry Tynes, Hartley and Buehler and i'm staring at a freaking zero from my kickers. Waivers just closed until after week 1 is over and about an hour after the waivers ended I heard Hartley is out for a couple months.
Beat writer Jeff Roberts just posted the following:"Tynes said he expects to kick against Washington. Felt good after taking 25 field goal attempts and eight kickoffs."'Mike Herman said:The last I heard Tynes was expected back for the opener, but that was awhile ago and certainly not definitive.'Multiple Scores said:Any news on if Tynes plays opening week?I'm pretty peeved right now that in a deep league I carry Tynes, Hartley and Buehler and i'm staring at a freaking zero from my kickers.
