So I've been watching all these games from last season, and quite a few of them have been Packers games, and I've really noticed how unique the Aaron Rodgers spiral is.
If you watch it, the ball comes out zinging real fast and then as it approaches the receiver its trajectory becomes much steeper and it comes in so sharply that it almost drops into their hands.
I've seen some great slingers like Elway and Marino but I don't think I've ever seen a QB get the ball out and down into the receiver so quickly. Elway and Marino maybe had more RPMs on it and were throwing it with more velocity but not with such a steep trajectory.
I was also watching one of the Panthers games, and Jimmy Clausen was playing, and he has got such a lame noodle-arm, it's amazing that both guys were touted before they were drafted in the same terms as being among the best QBs in their draft class.
