The Audible at The Shrine Game (1 Viewer)

I'm very pleased to announce that Bloom and I will be at the Shrine Game practices. While there we will be credentialed to walk the sidelines at practice and sit in the press box during the game.

We will be interviewing players, scouts, agents, etc.

Do any players on the rosters stand out for the Shark Pool? Who should we target, and what questions would you like answered?

And as always, listen to The Audible on Itunes

Folks, less than two weeks and Cecil and I bring you all the dirt on the Shrine Game rosters...

remember this is where we first heard the name Marques Colston last year...

The Audible is going to be bringing you the best 2007 draft class coverage all the way up and through the draft.

The season may be over, but we NEVER stop working to give you an advantage.

Great job getting into the Game, great idea getting feed back!

Here are a few players I would be interested in hearing about:

East

QB - Chris Leak (Size issue)

QB - Drew Tate (Dissapointing Senior year)

WR - Steve Breaston ( has not shown WR ability @ NFL level , but could be a good KR)

West

QB - John Beck

QB - Zach Taylor ( has Callahan's offense better prepred him for the NFL)

WR - Jarrett Hicks ( can he prove to be more than a system WR, he seems to be very talented)

WR - Paul Williams ( physical tools , he could shine against the others)

Thanks

Keep your eyes on RB Jon Cornish (Kansas). He may need to bulk up a little, but this kid has my attention

and could very well be the 'sleeper' RB out of this senior class.

Coached by Don Shula this year. Chris Leak can improve his draft stock with a strong performance in the title game, and a good Shrine Game/Combine. I have doubts about his ability, mainly due to his inconsistent play and size concerns.Drew Tate is hard nosed, and in for a position switch if he wants to make it in the NFL.Breaston could be a good KR.

Coached by Dan Reeves this year.I will be watching Zac Taylor and Hicks very closely. Two interesting prospects. I think Taylor could be a good backup in the right system. Hicks COULD make an impact as a receiver/return man.

Ice storm coming to Austin tonight that could linger until Tue/Wed, so I am heading to Houston today (during the games  ), which makes getting to the actual game more difficult, so I may not be in the press box on Saturday (spending more time and resources than I expected to already), but we will be bringing you all the scoops from the practices.

As long the hotel wireless internet is good, expect the reports to start to roll in tomorrow night.

Have fun Bloom.

Be safe on your trip, the weather has been a little tough here in Cowtown.

Be safe brother. We'll see you at the airport in the morning!

It is what it is said:
Who are Bloom and Lammey? :)
Sigmund Bloom and myself (Cecil Lammey) will be walking on the sidelines during practice at both the Shrine Game and the Senior Bowl. Stay tuned for our nightly reports in the Shark Pool, and audio coming on Itunes!

Day 1 report coming...

We were lucky enough to rub elbows with the likes of Don Shula, Dan Reeves, Mean Joe Greene, and Marv Levy today at the Shrine Game Practices.

Player of the day: David Ball, WR, UNH

Cecil and I are going to record episodes of the audible right now - one about each practice, and then we'll jump on later to share our thoughts with the shark pool.
