Glad to hear you're on the same page as I with Denver, I keep reading Torain's comeback everywhere and I am not buying it. Hillis and Alridge in 2008 is a real possibility, I have Hillis on IR and am adding Alridge through waivers tonight.

Any thoughts on Fred Jackson? I can't listen right now and my waivers close tonight.

we talked about Xavier Omon, but Fred Jackson certainly deserves a roster spot especially in PPR leagues. Marshawn should get more carries, but Jackson can be very valuable and should see even more playing time next year.

I have a new theory about RBs. You can call it the Reubeun Droughns/Ladell Betts/Justin Fargas/Earnest Graham theory of supreme mediocrity. The basic idea is that almost any RB who has managed to stay on a pro roster for 3-4 seasons must be talented enough to do pretty well if and when he finally gets an extended opportunity. So if you're looking for a deep sleeper, you might want to consider looking at boring bench players who have managed to hang around the league for a few seasons. That group includes names like:

Jerome Harrison

Darren Sproles

Derrick Ward

Leon Washington

Fred Jackson

Kolby Smith

Brandon Jackson

Of this group I'm probably most intrigued by Washington and Sproles. Both of those guys have a tendency to make positive plays whenever they get touches. The other guys on this list could conceivably make some noise if an injury creates an opportunity. Obviously Ward is "so hot right now" because of this weekend's game.

I can't listen right now either. Do you guys touch on Jamal Charles? Seems like the guy just makes plays. Is he still considered too small to be a 20 touch guy? What are the prospects on LJ moving on from KC?

Charles is lightning in a bottle. I say he's too small to be an every down back, but others will disagree. I see his impact and upside as being similar to Jerious Norwood.

:Dwe talked more about guys like Danny Ware/Jackie Battle, etc. But yes, Charles best case scenario is Jerious Norwood. In the practice squad show we talked about a possibility of a Charles/Savage RBBC.
