4. CIN - QB Blaine Gabbert

5. ARI - DE Robert Quinn

6. CLE - CB Patrick Peterson

7. SF - WR A.J. Green

8. TEN - DE J.J. Watt

9. DAL - OT Ty Smith

10. WAS - WR Julio Jones

11. HOU - CB Prince Amukamara

12. MIN - DE Cameron Jordan

13. DET - DE Da;Quan Bowers

14. STL - DT Nick Fairley

15. MIA - QB Ryan Mallett

16. JAC - DE Ryan Kerrigan

17. NE - DE Aldon Smith

18. SD - DT Corey Liuget

19. NYG - RB Mark Ingram

20. TB - DE Adrian Clayborn

21. KC - QB Jake Locker

22. IND = OT Nate Solder

23. PHI - CB Jimmy Smith

24. NO - RB Mikel Leshoure

25. SEA - DT Muhammad Wilkerson

26. BAL - DE/OLB Brooks Reed

27. ATL - WR Torrey Smith

28. NE - C Mike Pouncey

29. CHI - OT Anthony Castonzo

30. NYJ - NT Phil Taylor

31. PIT - DE Cameron Heyward

32. GB - RB Ryan Williams

I posted mine today and people had fun questioning some of the picks so I figure they will want to pick over this one as well.

21. KC - QB Jake Locker
Not buying it. This is a surprise pick like Tim Tebow to Denver. At least, Denver had the luxury of multiple 1st round picks. I don't think Haley wants to end up like Josh McDaniels.
I prefaced the pick by saying that every mock needs to have one pick that everyone says "no way" and it still happens. Some team(s) are going to have Locker and maybe even Mallett very high on their board and possibly be forced to take him similar to Philly and Kevin Kolb a few years back.

I hope you guys are dead wrong about the Giants pick
It's just a smart pick and that's the Giants do in the first. The late teens is where lack of need is overshadowed by how much of a slam dunk cashing-in of a first Ingram represents. I think NE, TB, IND, NO, SEA, GB are all in play for Ingram and I'll be shocked if he falls out of the first. He's just the type of player that will be a lot of teams BPA if he falls into the 20s.

1. CAR - QB Cam Newton

2. DEN - DT Marcell Dareus

3. BUF - LB Von Miller

4. CIN - QB Blaine Gabbert

I'm thinking the ginger-man in the second is how the Cats are leaning.

5. ARI - DE Robert Quinn

Their are two things about Quinn that caution me from saying that he'll go before Washington. The first is that every six months he has an MRI to make sure his benign tumor doesn't masticize. The second is that he already has had a significant amount of fluid drained from his cranium because he had passed out. That fluid had accumulated over a period of time and pressure to the brain is what causes brain damage. Quinn seems to zone-out on some run plays where the ball carrier seems to go right by him. Then he made a pretty bad judgement call off the field that lead to his suspension. I love his game but I do not have him as one of the top-six picks in this draft even if I feel his raw talent rates that ranking. I am leery of taking Quinn so high.

6. CLE - CB Patrick Peterson

If Peterson is there then he's a Brown even if Green is also there. Peterson is the best player from this draft.

7. SF - WR A.J. Green

8. TEN - DE J.J. Watt

9. DAL - OT Ty Smith

I've said it many times but if Prince is on the board Rob Ryan will go to the table for him.

10. WAS - WR Julio Jones

11. HOU - CB Prince Amukamara

12. MIN - DE Cameron Jordan

13. DET - DE Da'Quan Bowers

My advice to Da'Quan is that he should stay away from New York and plan a nice relaxing day out in the woods camping far from cell phone towers and not pack a portable TV. The next day, make a fire and make some coffee and then check in after the first couple of picks have been made in the second round.

14. STL - DT Nick Fairley

Goose has him going to the Donkey's with the second pick in his latest draft but that seems like a smokescreen.

15. MIA - QB Ryan Mallett

Hmnnnnnnnnn, nah. Just nah. How's that for insight?

16. JAC - DE Ryan Kerrigan

Wouldn't shock me to see Ryan going a few spots higher. He's a top-ten athletic talent and was solidly productive in college, not huge but he could be a terror in the NFL.

17. NE - DE Aldon Smith

Watch the tape and you'll see he got many sacks rushing inside ALA Justin Tuck who moves inside on many passing downs for the G-Men. He will be a 3-4 OLB or 4-3 DE but if a DC is smart they will position him against slow footed OGs and rush him inside.

18. SD - DT Corey Liuget

19. NYG - RB Mark Ingram

Too good, he'll go higher.

20. TB - DE Adrian Clayborn

I'm feel'n Jimmy Smith here myself.

21. KC - QB Jake Locker

Nah.

22. IND = OT Nate Solder

23. PHI - CB Jimmy Smith

24. NO - RB Mikel Leshoure

Man-crush pick.

25. SEA - DT Muhammad Wilkerson

26. BAL - DE/OLB Brooks Reed

27. ATL - WR Torrey Smith

I think the third wideout isn't taken till the second round.

28. NE - C Mike Pouncey

29. CHI - OT Anthony Castonzo

30. NYJ - NT Phil Taylor

31. PIT - DE Cameron Heyward

32. GB - RB Ryan Williams

A couple of thoughts:

*** I don't think Adrian Clayborn is going top 20 with the very real risks his Erbs palsy presents at the NFL level

*** I don't think the Eagles will take Smith at that spot (and more importantly I hope they don't)

*** It seems most have Denver taking Dareus, so I found it interesting that Gosselin changed it from Dareus to Fairley in his newest mock (Cec would blow a gasket)

*** I don't see that many QBs nor 3 RBs going in the first; that's the fantasy love talkin' I think

I would be surprised if the Giants rated Ingram higher than ALL three of the OLs (Solder Pouncy Castonzo) taken after him in your mock draft.

Wow, heard Kiper and his cohort say that they've heard from several teams that Ryan Mallet could fall all the way to the 4th round. I find that VERY hard to believe, but there are always a few guys who plummet.

I can't see the Cardinals passing on Patrick Peterson if he is available at 1.05I think they would rather have Miller but they will take Peterson if they can't have Miller

I completely agree that Mallet is the Dolphins' top choice of the 2nd tier. I don't see them taking him at 15, though I would absolutely love it.

I can definitely see a strong argument for Peterson - just felt like maybe they would be pre-occupied with the premium pass rushers, and Quinn is arguably a cut above the rest after Miller

Good work Cecil and Sig. Few things stood out to me.

AJ Green to the 49ers. (I think if he falls there this might happen.) But realistically the 49ers have too many other glaring needs. If you watched the Chargers and 49ers game you know what I mean. I think they go DEF here.

Nick Fairley to the Rams. I think he will go earlier then that. Just a hunch. BUt I don't think he lasts to them.

Leshore to the Saints. Not so sure about this. Last year was a freak year for injuries for their RB's. So I don't think they go RB here. They will stay with what they got or get some help FA once it opens up.

Just my thoughts is all. But really its anyone's guess right. I mean who predicted the Broncos would reach for Tebow in the 1st like they did last year.
