In This Episode: Cecil Lammey and Sigmund Bloom discuss the Carolina Panthers with Special Guest Steve Reed, Panthers beat writer from the Gaston Gazette. Topics include: how good can DeAngelo Williams be, should Jake Delhomme be looking over his shoulder, who wins the #2 WR job opposite of Steve Smith, a review of the battle at the CB position, plus more!

Add Reed to the list of people who think DeAngelo Williams can win the feature back job in camp - although he does reiterate that the higher ups love Foster.

I was wondering when this was going to show up - I think it was mentioned at the end of the segment with the Texans beat reporter. Thanks guys.

Maybe I missed it, but who is the gonna be the passcatching TE?
Last I heard - Jeff King. But I wouldn't take that to the bank, nor would I depend on him for a TE1. He's about a TE3 in most leagues (in the mid-30 projection range) but I like his skillset.Competition abounds here with Gaines and a rookie from the NFL Draft Day 2 (Dante Rosario) so they could do a committee approach. King did well towards the 2nd half of last year and can play 3 downs.

I know you have been high on him Jeff.

I'm interested b/c Davidson has gotten 7 TDs outta guys like Daniel Graham and Christian Fauria. He's also worked with Ben Coates and K2, so there's sleeper potential out of this spot. I cant see it being Gaines, he's too much of a plodder.

None of these guys are gonna break a long one up the seam, but some goalline targets should be there.
