Sigmund and I will be talking the latest news from around the NFL, recapping the All-Star road trip - including a breakdown of skill players from the Texas vs The Nation Game, Senior Bowl, and Shrine Game!

:lmao:

Hey Cecil and Sigmund,

I've been reviewing my draft guides, and there have been some big moves up and down the boards from October to February on some of the players. I know that this is partially due to early-entry players declaring for the draft, but some of the moves are dramatic enough that even that factor doesn't explain all the downwards motion.

I was wondering if y'all could give your thoughts on:

Why has...

...Tim Tebow slid down the QB board dramatically (from first ten picks to midway in the second round in one of the publications I read)?

...Colt McCoy slid from first round to mid-second round grading?

...Toby Gerhart from top of the second round to end of the third round grading?

...Charles Scott from second round to fourth round?

...Eric Decker from early second to third round (moved from 3rd to 9th at WR prospects in one publication)?

Thanks guys.

Hi Cecil and Sig - happy offseason (AKA non playing season) to you both.

Sig congrats on the newborn - hope you are getting a few hours of sleep.

Now to business - 3 questions :

1. At no.6 in a non ppr rookie draft for 2010 could this be a year when that spot could be good for a qb or maybe te or lb? Or is it rich enough at RB/WR to get value if the current top 5 guys are gone - Bryant, Dwyer, Spiller, Best and Matthews?

2. What do you think the New Orleans backfield will look like next season? Bush staying or going? Thomas a lead back? Drafting a back or adding in free agency?

3. Any guys who you are already keeping an eye on as sleepers for rookie drafts. Late round picks - the Mike Thomas's, Mike Wallace's or Austin Collie for 2010.

Keep up the awesome work.

Glad to have you guys back on Thursdays!

Hey Guys,

Let's make this first show of 2010 about the NFC East!

1- The early 2010 mocks I've seen show Lesean McCoy going pretty high... I know the kid has talent, but am I alone thinking Leonard Weaver is going to have a good-sized role going forward? Is it a slam dunk Weaver is coming back, or could you see the Eagles letting him go?

2- I know it's tough to answer this question early, but do you think Jason Cambell stays and starts for Shanahan? If so, does he continue the success (fantasy-wise) he started to generate at the end of 2010? Also, what about Devin Thomas? Was his success tied to Cooley's demise, or does he have a place in this offense regardless? He looked pretty good to me.

3- Have the Giants become a passing team? Was their lack of success running the ball a function of health & game-situations, or will we see Steve Smith, Hakeem Nicks and Mario Manningham even more in 2010? And speaking of the running game, did Bradshaw convince you he can be the lead back for the GMen?

4- For those of us who drafted Felix Jones in 2009 :lmao: should we be encouraged by his performance in the playoffs? Or was his production simply a product of Marion Barber's injury? What's your best guess with what happens to the Dallas RBs going forward?

Thanks!

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! Wecome back!

Dynasty wise, what does the future hold for;

LT2- Does he have any value? Early reports indicated that Houston may be interested but now not so much. Can he be counted on to be a decent RB2/RB3 this year.

Thomas Jones- despite his age, will he continue to produce RB1/2 numbers? I think his situation, sharing with Greene, keeps him fresh and with the Jets game plan should put up similiar numbers this year.

McNabb/Vick/Klob - I say Vick is the only QB that gets moved from PHI, many think Kolb or McNabb will be moved as well. Can the Eagle afford losing two QB's?

Matt Moore - Does he have what it takes to be a NFL QB?

Lendale White- Does he get moved and if so can J. Ringer step into his role?

And finally how will the backfield for Chicago and Baltimore shape up in 2010?

Great stuff as always!

What do you guys see in the future for Adrian Peterson? The Vikings might have a lot of changes coming with the potential loss of Farve, and with ADPs fumbling issues do you see this as a BUY NOW moment for him or stay away? I'm thinking of making a move for him in my dynasty PPR league and just wondering your thoughts?

Hi guys,

Great to have you back on the airwaves talking football every Thursday night. Congratulations to Sig on the first born.

I have a couple of questions for you tonight:

1. Which rookie do you think is the most NFL ready prospect as far as dynasty leagues go? I have a top 6 pick in my upcoming rookie draft and although I have a big need at RB, I will most likely take the BPA. So who do you covet the most in your rookie drafts?

2. Which of the these three young TEs has the best prospects going forward in dynasty leagues?

(i) Evan Moore

(ii) Zach Miller (Jacksonville)

(iii) Martellus Bennett

Thanks fellas!

A couple of keeper questions guys:

1. Thinking of trading my keeper Jamaal Charles, who costs my 7th round pick to keep, for Ray Rice, who costs a fourth rd pick to keep. Might have to throw in a draft pick to make it happen. Given their different keeper rounds, is Charles the better value here and, if not, how much do you give up to get Rice?

2. Can keep Shonne Greene with a 6th pick this year and a 5th pick the following year. What does your crystal ball say about him and the rest of the backfield for next season and the season after?

Please rank the following three linebackers based on how they fit in a 3-4 scheme, their on field ability and off field/locker room/leadership intangibles. Do any of these players have some Vernon Gholston in them? Please answer without looking at the palm of your hand.

Navarro Bowman--Sergio Kindle---Sean Weatherspoon

Great to have the Audible back. To paraphrase Christopher Walken " I need more Podcasts".....

Based on talent how would you rank the following young TEs:

Cook

Nelson

Casey

How would it change based on opportunities?

PS need more podcasts please ... have a 6 hour flight to Ireland this weekend!

Thanks,

Tones

Your podcast is my #1 reason to go to the gym. Thanks guys!

A few AFC passing game questions:

What do you see happening with the Jacksonville WR’s? Do they draft yet another WR in the 1st round? Do they give Mike Thomas his shot? What are the odds that Jarrett Dillard surprises everyone and emerges as a legitimate NFL starter?

Seems like the Pittsburgh front office is pressuring the coaching staff to run the ball more. Do you think the Pittsburgh passing game is curtailed significantly next year? Will Holmes put up huge numbers when Hines Ward declines, or will Arians spread the ball around too much for Holmes to ever be a reliable WR1?

With the Texans moving to a longtime offensive line coach at offensive coordinator, do Matt Schaub’s stats drop off next year? Who’s the better dynasty buy-low: Daniels for a borderline TE starter price, or Casey as a roster stash?

I have a question, can we all stop talking about the Eagles QB situation until there's something to talk about? Every day it seems to be a topic on every airwave even though none of the parties involved have actually opened the door to anything. It's maddening.

What do you see next year for the Arizona Cardinals offense? Do they have the personnel on the oline to be a good running team? Is Beanie Wells a top 10/20 RB next year? Thanks for the great insight!
