Hi guys, love the show. :thumbup:

In recent drafts, Frank Gore is usually selected in the second round. Last year, he was a top 5 candidate. Given the teams current QB/WR situation being comparable to last year, I believe a healthy Gore should outperform his second round pick. Am I too optimistic about Gore?

Just inherited a new dynasty roster this year. I have Josh Freeman as my QB1.

1. Am I way too optimistic to think that Josh could be a top5 QB, potentially? I recognize his TD:INT ratio might not continue, but his O-line may improve (it wasn't horribly good at pass protection last year.) Trying to avoid "New toy-itis". (of note, personally I'm knocking Brady and P Manning down as dynasty QBs due to age, others may not.)

2. I have Lee Evans on the new roster, I could move MIA - Edmund Gates for BUF - Easley to essentially handcuff the Bills WR2, spot. Or am I better off just keeping E. Gates?

I think it was Bloom that posted something in 2010 about SEA M Williams having a good opportunity for 60 catches. Who's the dark horse WR this season to make a leap of 50-ish catches from last year?

Looking forward to another great show, any your great advice of course!!

I'm in the tail end of a $500 auction draft for a 12 team dynasty IDP league and the bottom feeding has begun. Are there any super deep sleepers I should be targeting in the $1-$2 range in all positions? We are allowed a 40 man roster so there is potential for a few deep prospects/lottery tickets at all positions, and I am particularily interested in any defensive players you could recommend.

In a new dynasty start up, the scoring for QBs are more realistic with penalties raised for int's (-4), sacks taken (-2) and fumbles lost (-4). TDs are still 6 pts. Can discuss the offensive line situations and which signal callers move up and down significantly in this scoring format with 12 teams. Thanks, love the show as always.

 
Gentlemen, talk to us about Mike Williams Tampa. Lots of discussion about him lately in the Shark Pool. Where do you see his career going? Is he a regular WR 1? Or 2? Or what some have said, the next guy to have peaked his rookie year?

We are all glad to be getting our fix this week!

1) What do you make of the Colts WR core

How long does Reggie have as a top 10 guy?

Is Pierre the next 1200+yds & 10 TD guy or is the future #1 not on the roster yet?

What has to happen for Gonzo to be relevant again?

2) Why are people seemingly down on Romo

Last year we spoke about him as the shark pick to take with #1 QB upside.

This year he has all the old weapons + Dez in his 2nd year and a better OL so why is he falling in drafts?

 
Give me this year's version of (redraft)

Kyle Orton (A QB that puts up top 5-8 numbers for most of the season but was really cheap in the draft)

LeGarette Blount (A RB that really comes on mid-year)

DeWayne Bowe (a WR in the 20-25 range with top3 potential)

 
Hey guys,

We all know that the Patriots RB situation is a mess, but isn't the WR situation just as cloudy? They have some decent football players in Welker, Branch, Tate, Price and Edelman, but none have shown to be a true threat that defenses need to gameplan for or specifically design coverage for. Who do you see stepping up out of this group of WRs, or is this player even on their roster at this point? Also, due to the lack of there being a deep threat and the emergence of the TEs, are Welker's days of being a PPR monster behind him?

What are your thoughts about Michael Turner this year? With the addition of Julio Jones it seems to me like he will face less defenders in box and possibly have a better year than years past.

Donovan McNabb: Smacked a@#$, or still has a year or two of viability(read:QB2 output) remaining?

In one of my dynasties I have a team that is woefully "QB poor" and McNabb is being offered for, basically, peanuts. I'm reticent even at that cost. I feel he's pretty toasted. Do any of you feel differently? If so, why?

Owner inherited a team in a keep two redraft league with 16 teams. Of the guys from last year, ADP, Sidney Rice, and Matt Schaub are worth keeping. How do I choose knowing that it's a start 1qb 2rb 3wr roster. Aditionally its 2pts per reception, 1 point per completion, all tds are 6 pts. Do I go with the QB or the WR?

In Dynasty leagues, how much would you give up to move up to get Ingram 1st overall? I have J. Charles and Rice, but then drop off to Moreno and Spiller. I almost always end up at the back of the draft due to success in the regular season, so would it be unwise to sell Knowshon and my 2012 and 2013 (late) 1st round picks to move up? Or is that too much?

Does anyone else have a problem with the playback of the audible? I listen to it on my android phone, but the timer or eta goes slower than the show so when I pause and listen later I get about 5 minutes of overlap.

I use doggcatcher on my android phone and before that used the google listen app. Have had the same problem on both and usually is only with the thurs night show for whatever reason.

This has happened to me as well and i download it from here on my phone.

This has happened to me as well when listening on my Droid. Seemed that if I stopped the podcast and the player told me I had listened to 25min of the show and I restarted the file later on and manually put the slider to 25min it wouldn't be in the same spot. I actually decided I was just going a little crazy but this makes me feel better. I haven't listened on my Droid for a while so don't remember where I downloaded it from.
