Good evening gents.

Money Lloyd has a very revealing and impressive showing on Football Outsiders WR Rankings. I know Wildman is high on Lloyd and Cecil gets to see him each day at Dove Valley. Can you guys discuss your expectations for Lloyd? Was last year and outlier or a revelation of things to come?

Does Arian Foster's hammy and Chris Johnson's hold out change your expectations for them yet? In Chris Johnson's case, at what point would you start moving him down your board?

Gentlemen!

First, best wishes to Cecil and his family. I hope all is well with you and yours.

Second, I'm joining a new league that only has eight owners. It's non-PPR, 1 pt per 20 yards rushing/receiving, 1 pt per 50 yards passing, 4 pts per passing TD.

Does upside down drafting still apply? How about committee approaches to QB or TE? Any small-league strategy tips would be appreciated.

Thanks for all you do.

Good evening gentlemen, very happy to see preseason football back!

I picked up Greg Little from the Cleveland Browns off waviers this week thinking I might have found a diamond in the rough. What are your guy's thoughts on him and is he going to end up as Clevelands No. 1 at the end of the preseason?

Hey guys!

Ricky Williams to Baltimore

Willis McGahee to Denver

Which old veteran has more value? Should these guys be handcuffs to the guys ahead of them, or are they merely "veteran depth at the position"?

Cheers! MW

Finally football tonight...even if only pres-season. Got my Orange Crush shirt on underneath my dress shirt at work...so happy..

Two quick questions:

1) There are always players that we just won't draft because we've been burned, or we just don't like them, even though the rankings say otherwise. Who is that guy you each just will not draft? For me it's Marques Colston. I love the guy but he's burned me every time.

2) Do you have any players you draft as a sort of good luck charm, like you always like having them on the team or they just keep being sound year to year in some capacity? For me it's been Antoine Winfield. I always feel better when I have him on my team in IDP leagues, and not for any particular reason, just superstition.

Thanks guys,

@mondo_tiki_man

Hey Guys,

Love the content. Thanks for taking the time to do this every week. My question is a generic one and I'm just looking for your opinions. Last year I won my leagues because I bought into the Foster and Nicks FBG's hype and drafted them at EXTREME value. Who are you looking at this year that might be in the right situation and point in their careers to have a Foster/Nicks 2010 style of season?

Keep up the great work

Cory T

Hey Guys,

With the signing of Roy Williams in Chicago and Brandon Jackson in Cincinnati, are you guys still high on Earl Bennett and Bernard Scott? Who are some other guys you want to make sure you grab late in drafts?

STUD QB VS QBBC

What is your take on this year strategy?

I have always been into QBBC but I have my doubts this year (after QB7 too many questions marks)

I was planning to spend $30-$40 on QBBC (Big Ben + Eli) or $40-$50 on a QB Stud (Rivers, Brady or Peyton). Which do you like?

For your reference, following are my league parameters:

SALARY: $250

2011 Rankings with 2010 auction results:

Aaron Rodgers (01.09) $75

Michael Vick (02.02) $75 (2011 Keeper)

Tom Brady (03.02) $49

Drew Brees (02.11) $38

Peyton Manning (03.03) $28

Philip Rivers (03.05) $24

Tony Romo (04.12) $20

Ben Roethlisberger (06.05) $20

Matt Ryan (05.12) $20 (2011 Keeper)

Matt Schaub (05.08) $17 (2011 Keeper)

Eli Manning (07.05) $14

Josh Freeman (06.11) $14 (2011 Keeper)

Thanks

Bring it, my brothas! "I'm soooo lost withowwwwchooooo....."

Okay, seems to be a lot of smoke with Maclin in Philly so I'm expecting the fire trucks to start rolling up very shortly.

Given that, and the possibility that Steve Smith may not play for a while, is Avant a blatantly obvious buy in PPR now? Or is he pretty much just the same ol' 40-50 catch, 450-550ish yard, 1 TD guy he's always been?

If he IS an obvious buy in your mind, where're you slotting him in PPR?

*Insert Reaction/Motorboat reference here*

many thanks.

Gentlemen, thanks for the great work. I ended up drawing the #6 pick in my PPR redraft league and I'm really torn between McCoy and Charles. While Charles is probably the bigger talent, it just seems like the potential Philly offensive production makes McCoy a no-brainer choice between the two. Sell me on why I should consider Charles instead.

(And can the answer involve CLARITY, so we can all take a shot?)

What up guys, First time asking questions in here. My question is about Josh Cribbs. That guy is phenomenal, Why have the Browns never Tried to get him more involved in the offense? I understand he is one of the best special teams players of all time. But, IMO its a crime that this guy doesn't get at least 10 touches a game on offense. If he gets the ball in the secondary, I dont know many corners that can even tacke him by them self. Hes 6'1" 215 and runs like a running back  . I'm sure there is some reasoning for this that I dont understand, you guys mind enlightening me lol.

One more question! Whats your guys thoughts on Ben Tate? I know you guys weren't the biggest fan of the Texans choice last year, but is he a significant handcuff as of now? IMO if he gets the same type of holes as Foster did last year, he will be very productive in that offense.

Guys, how about a heads up for the early drafters on who to pick now before their pre-season stock starts to rise fast.

So far I have grabbed Ingram and Dez early in the auction thinking in another week or two the $$$ goes up, up and up.

Who are your get em now guys, elite or late round flyers?

Hey guys, how are you doing?

A couple of quick hitters for you tonight:

1. Mikel LeShoure's achilles injury is clearly a blow to not only the Lions, but the young back's career prospects. Most experts (doctors, surgeons) believe that an 11 month healing period is necessary for NFL athletes, but that even upon their return they rarely return to their former selves. So, in a nutshell, how have you been reacting to achilles injuries in your leagues with the likes of Demaryius Thomas and Mikel LeShoure?

2. Pick one offensive player and one defensive player that you are going to be keeping an especially close eye on in the preseason and say why.

Have a great night fellas and enjoy football (at last!).

First off, T&P to Cecil and family. You were missed last week brotha, but I'm glad your family takes top priority. Hope all is well and prognosis is good moving forward. That said, I can't thank you guys enough for providing us with a great show week in and week out, and the knowledge and passion you bring. The audible is my favorite source of FF info. leading up to, and during the season. I love how your different perspectives frequently challenge the listener's thoughts on individual players and overall strategies.

Playing in the FPC FBGs Player Championship this year and the question I have is regarding PPR WRs in this format, which allows a double flex (and where the top 25 are usually gone by round 5). Who do you like to emerge from the muddle of WRs in the 25-50 range, and possibly leap into top 12 territory this season?

Manningham, Santana Moss, Ochocinco, Smiff, Britt, Rice, BMW, Garcon, Collie, Boldin, M.Thomas, Edwards, Bess, L.Moore, Jerome Simpson, R.Williams, the Rams WRs(Amendola/Avery/MSW), or the rookies (Green/Jones/Baldwin/Little/Young) immediately come to mind, but who are some of the guys you are seeing/targeting as great values if they fall into the 6th round or later?

Conversely, and maybe even more interesting which are fool's gold in your opinion, and who would you rather not have on your team?

So far my gut is telling me to stay away from Jordy Nelson, D.Branch, H.Ward, Lee Evans, and the rookies outside of Julio Jones.

Hey guys

Soooooo excited for preseason football tonite.

What do we make of the Choice talk from Cowboys camp (roster spot in danger)

Is it better for fantasy if he gets cut and picked up somewhere else?

Does this make Lonyae a dynasty buy?

Is it just random speculation that has no basis?

Thanks again

Hey guys. Thanks for the time.

What is your opinion on targeting QB to WR combo's? I play in leagues where we can keep two players for one additional season. I generally find myself keeping WR's and follow the next season up with targeting of their QB if the situation works.

So, if all QB's available are in the same tier, is it worth shooting the matching QB to the front of the tier or even going out of your way plan your draft around getting that QB.

QB's I'm looking at are Big Ben, Josh Freeman, Eli Manning since I pretty much targeted the same WR's in all leagues last year. Maybe a two QB matchup play with these guys?

BTW, Cecil, I hope all is well my man.

Thanks for all you do, the show is great! Especially like the fantast court.

hey guys!

Thanks for answering my question last week! No other show compares and provides the breadth of knowledge you guys provide in such a short amount of time! You help equip all of us with the tools to watch film and see the game the way you see it. Thank you!

I love the articles you guys post on FBG. Keep it coming!

Cecil - I hope your wife is doing better.

Now for my question this week... As a Bears fan, do we have any clarity in the WR and o-line? Knox has been demoted, Williams and Hester are starting? I can understand the reason Williams is starting, but Hester too? I know Knox gave up a ton of interceptions last year because he didn't exhibit the "my ball" mentality enough times... Is the line going to hold up? What's your take on Cutler in his 2nd year with Martz?

Thanks!

Hey guys,

Greetings from Lyon, France!

First of all, Cecil, you and your family are in my prayers. To all of you, thanks again for all of your work. You guys are the Mount Rushmore of fantasy football knowledge. Here's my quesion:

I am in a 16 team PPR/IDP dynasty-45 man roster. We start 2 RB, 3WR, and one flex. With a league this deep, everybody has holes somewhere on their team. Mine is WR depth. I have Roddy White and Reggie Wayne, but after that I am looking at Malcom Floyd, Jericho Cotchery, David Gettis and Blair White. My RB's are Charles, Best, Addai, the law firm, Snelling, Ivory and Norwood.

I am thinking I should move the law firm or addai in favor of a better WR3. First, is my thinking sound and 2nd, what wrs would be fair/good value for one of these guys. For instance, on Dodds top 300 PPR list, Addai is #72 and Mike Thomas is # 73. Law firm is #105 and Robert Meachum, Hines Ward, Mike Williams (Seatle) and Lance Moore are all bunched up right there. What are your thoughts fellas?

Thanks again and "VIVE l'AUDIBLE"

noleinfrance

This is more specifically directed at the wildman, but would like everyone's opinion. At what draft slot in a non ppr redraft league would you employ the upside down draft theory and take a wr. Which rbs other than CJ, AP, Arian, Rice, and Charles would you take ahead of the #1 WR? Thanks a lot. What a great day

With Hardesty not looking to be healthy to start the season, how does that change your outlook for Peyton Hillis coming into the season?

I'm in a 10 team, PPR, 5 player keeper league - so the best 50 players are off the board. I need two RBs to go with Ray Rice and have 3 picks in the first round to nab two of these guys:

Mark Ingram

Matt Forte

Jahvid Best

LaGarrette Blount

Ryan Matthews

Ryan Grant

Knowshon Moreno

Ryan Matthews

Ryan Williams

Rocking two drafts this weekend!

In a PPR league which of these RBs has the best chance of breaking into the top 10: Felix Jones, Ryan Mathews Knowshon Moreno or Shonn Greene?

Not looking for overall ranking, just breakout potential.

Thanks! You guys are the best!

Any new opinions on the Saints passing game because of recent news concerning the status of Marques Colston's knee?

Does this make Robert Meachem truly relevant?

Any real change to your perceived value regarding Lance Moore or Jimmy Graham because of this situation?

Thanks guys.

If you don't have NFL preseason you're missing out. You can simulcast up to like 4 games. This is the future of what the NFL should be doing with regular season games.

Just $20. DO IT NOW.

This has been a public service announcement from way out - we care about your world.

In mocking my keeper league I should have the pick of Romo or Rivers in the 2nd round. With me taking Megatron in the 1st round. I'am keeping Mendenhall(3rd),Bradshaw(6th),and V-Jax (13th). My question is could you elaborate on the the pros and cons of Romo VS. Rivers? Leaning toward Rivers but hearing a lot about Romo. Passing TDs are worth 6pts.

Thanks guys. The Audible is the best show running by far!

Slash

Pick 1 for dynasty- Jared cook jr, Virgil green, Kyle Rudolph, Julius Thomas

And-

Does Ryan Williams future seem to be more of the scatback variety to you guys or does he have big top 10 potential down the road for me to invest in. And who has the better chance of stash and stardom- vereen or Daniel Thomas . Thx just discovered u guys and subscribed you're off the hook.

I have a 16 team league where all TD's are 6 points. This being my tenth year in the league i know the top 7 qb's will be off the board by the middle of round 2, and probaby 14 teams will have a QB by the end of round 3. Knowing this, where do you take a QB? I don't know my draft spot yet. No PPR, and the starting lineup is QB, RB, WR, 2 RB/WR/TE flex.

Hey Matt do you think upside down drafting is a strategy I can use in my league 6 pts td under 40 9 pt over 40 we start 1rb 1wr 3 flex. RB/wr its a 12 team league I have the third pick in the first round what makes our draft unique is the fact that we do random every other round. So rd's 1 and 2 are serpentine then random then rd 3 and 4 serpentine and so on. I have the # 3 pick in the 1st rd 10th in the 2nd rd then i pick 11th in the 3rd rd
