The Audible - LIVE! tonight at 10PM ET (1 Viewer)

Thanks for the great work!!!

Between Jermichael Finley and Brandon Pettigrew do you see a future startable fantasy #1 TE? They seem to be getting more and more involved in their offenses.

Also with the increase in passing attempts by the Jags do you see MJD being the PPR dynasty superstud he was thought to be in the beginning of the year?

What up fella's... Let's play True or False...

1. True or False - R. Brown ends the season as a top 5 RB?

2. True or False - M. Turner ends the season as a top 10 RB?

3. True or False - Felix Jones ends the season with 1,000 yards?

4. True or False - D. Garrard ends the season as a top 10 QB?

5. True or False - B. Marshall is a Bronco in 2010?

6. True or False - C. Portis is a Redskin in 2010?

7. True or False - Sims-Walker & R. Mendenhall are top 15 producers at their position in 2010?

8. True or False - Shonne Green is the starting RB in NY in 2010?

What's up Fellas? Living off the Audible and the FBG Subscription this year and loving it. So much to read from Waldman, Jeff Tefertiller, Pasquino, etc. Great stuff. Really like the Custom Rankings on MyFBG and Lineup Dominator. Best FF stuff on the planet.

Get on your thinking caps, I've got some bye week issues, in this day of Roster Limits...

1. Crabtree was just dropped. Would you pick him up and stash him in a 2-person keeper? I would probably have to drop A. Bryant, Jon Stewart, or P. Garcon. (full Roster below in 2-Person Keeper).

2. Fred Jackson was just dropped. Would you pick him up and drop Jon Stewart or Re Bush (Roster below in 2-Person Keeper).

Reggie Bush and Fred Jackson are both in similar situations...#2 backs with their #1 RB coming back. Who do you prefer in a PPR league?

3. Dodds has the Buffalo DEF ranked #4 this week. Could CLE just run the ball against BUF like New Orleans and Miami?

BTW, I don't love JAX @SEA this week, but they have a nice schedule after that: STL, BYE, @TEN, KC, @NYJ, BUF.

Which BYE week DEF would you prefer (or any others you suggest?)

BUF D/ST vs. CLE

MIA v NYJ
JAX @SEA
WAS @CAR
ARI vHOU
IND @TEN

Nicks was dropped in my league after the injury and hot rush for Manningham. Can someone explain the WR situation for the NYG and is Nicks a worthy pickup if my roster in a combined WR/TE league (start 3 roster 6, bonuses for TD length, non-ppr league, no yards but 100yard/game bonus) is as such: Jennings, Bowe, Garcon, Gates, Hester, Sims-Walker?

Staying on the WR tip, I dropped A. Gonzalez after the injury and picked up his replacement Garcon. What's the deal with Gonzalez at this point and the Indy WR's for the rest of the year? Should I try to pick Gonzalez back up of the WW? And who would I drop?

Great call on MSW earlier on the year, he may be my saving grace at WR.

On the heels of the Braylon Edwards trade...

Give me a list of some players you wish could get in a new situation (new team, coach, QB, etc) because they have the talent, but not the right opportunity?

Great work as always fellas. Two part question.

First part, 60/40 TD league, Non-PPR. Which one of these three WR's would you rather own?

1) H. Nicks

2) L. Moore

3) E. Royal

Second part, same scoring, Maroney and Morris is avaliable on our waiver wire. I'm currently rostering D. Ward. Would you rather hold on to Ward, or pick up Maroney or Morris?

Thanks Again!!

Jules

RB Quick hitter: Leon Washington @ MIA, Chester Taylor @ STL (I'm starting ADP), or Michael Bush @ NYG, 1/2 ppr?

Mohamed Massaquoi. Is he rosterable (is that a word?) or is he just another one-week-wonder?

Thanks. I'll hang up and listen.

Love the show guys- highlight of my Thursday night!

Thomas vs Dillard

What are the early reports out of Jax. on these 2, is Thomas showing more than Dillard?

I think Holt may be about ready to give way to one of these 2 before the season is done. "If" Holt is out of the picture later this year or next, who takes his place and who plays the slot between- Thomas and Dillard?

Cotchery's PPR value with the Edwards trade:

2009= up or down?

2010+= up or down?

Week 5 WDIS PPR, need 2:

K. Smith

P. Garcon

Cotchery

Hey fellas,

1. What is your opinion on Willie Parker? Someone had to drop him in my league due to a bye week and limited rosters, is he worth picking up and stashing or do you feel when he is healthy that Mendenhall will eat a lot of his carries?

2. Which defense do you like this week: Denver, Cinci, Indy, Buffalo, Jacksonville or Washington?

Mendenhall, Coffee, or Harrison? Out of these 3 Fantasy newbies who has the best potential for big numbers in week 5? Also going forward who would be more valuable Mendenhall or Harrison?

Thanks guys

Sjax has been consistent, but not consistently great. One, do you see him as an RB1 or RB2 for the week against Minny? And two, are you buying or selling this guy for the rest of the year?

Holding out on Week 5 previews is cruel and unusual.

Without getting into who I receive in return, who will I regret trading more this year: Boldin or Slaton?

And is Matt Jones alive? Seriously, although I do hope Cecil hits that button.

Thanks guys. Best in the business by far.

Evenin', from "Mosquito County." I'll dive right in:

Larry Johnson: Is he basically chum at this point, or is there any shred of hope for him the rest of the way? I was almost convinced of his "chumminess"....until I looked at the rest of his schedule. Charles seems to have ball security issues. Johnson should ultimately get any GL touches if the Chiefs get any(that's probably a a pretty big "if", but still).....am I hallucinating, or is Larry actually a "buy" at this point? Particularly since it seems a decent percentage of his owners are probably ready to throw him off the nearest bridge?

What should we expect from Delhomme and the Panthers this week. Do they come out fired up and rested? Big game from a Carolina RB ?

Thanks again guys for the help the last 2 weeks, the trade didn't go through for me last as new of Parker's injury surfaced so I'm still looking for RB help.

Any good buy low RB's that could finish high?

Whats the trade value for Ray Rice in a standard 12 team non ppr.

I've been trying to get him but the owner wanted Calvin Johnson and Mike Sims-Walker for him, I offered either Sims-Walker or Bowe for him (he wants WR).

To continue the theme of TE's that could become #1 options in redraft leagues, what do you fellows think of Sean Ryan? Cassel threw the ball his way 7 times last week and Ryan hauled in 5 of them for 58 yards and a touchdown. With Bowe still possibly banged up and no other receiving option demanding the ball, what do you think of Ryan's upside?

Marshawn Lynch was coming back after a mandated vacation yet he received one carry less than Jackson, even though Jackson outperformed him by a nice margin.

Jackson may not have as much 'talent' as Lynch but he manages to do more. Is this a matter of teams not respecting Jackson's talent and playing against the pass even though Edwards has shown he's nothing to fear?

More importantly, do you think the coaches will continue to give Lynch a heavier workload moving forward and what do you see his fantasy upside as? Jackson was a top 10 guy while Marshawn was out - can we expect similar upside from Lynch?

Has Burelson taken a backseat to Branch or will things get back to normal with Hassleback healthy?

Hey guys, love the show and all the hard work you guys do for the listeners and subscribers.

I'm in a 10 team PPR league where we start two running backs. Ray Rice is locked into one of the spots, but I'm having difficulty choosing between Brandon Jacobs and Knowshon Moreno for the other spot. Who would you insert and why? Thanks again.

I washed my hands of FWP before the season started. I love the guy as a Steelers fan, but it's always something with him. He'll have a big game against a weak defense, and then be a non-factor the next week. Mendenhall can have big games against weak defenses too, and this is FWP's last season in Pittsburgh. I think Mewelde Moore is the best back on that roster.go with the Bills against Derek Anderson

Mendenhall, Coffee, or Harrison? Out of these 3 Fantasy newbies who has the best potential for big numbers in week 5? Also going forward who would be more valuable Mendenhall or Harrison? Thanks guys
Mendenhall against Detroit could have the biggest day in week 5.Going forward the picture seems clearer to me for Harrison. Even if Lewis is healthy, the Browns get behind early and Harrison is a much better receiving option. He's good with the ball in his hands, and can make plays after contact. Willing inside runner (not that effective IMHO) but I give him "A" for effort.Mendenhall is big, fast, and can run through big holes. Can the Steelers O-Line keep blasting open holes like they did against the Chargers? What happens when Parker comes back? Mewelde Moore is the team's no-huddle back, and the Steelers may have to use their fast break offense more than people realize in tough matchups.

Love the avatar, wish I had one of those t-shirts from back in the day. RB2 against the Williams wall and Minny. Can still get things done as a receiver, and 100 all purpose yards, maybe even a TD is not out of the question this (or any) week. I'm selling him, but good luck getting anything of value in return. People are cooling on him because the Rams are just that bad. Bulger or Boller, it doesn't matter, the team struggles to move the football and neither QB is going to keep a defense honest with their arm.

Dr. Rockzo X2 for you tonight brother, hope you enjoyed it.Boldin or Slaton?I'll say Boldin. The Cards are a one-dimensional team, but that one dimension is pretty damn good. Fitz can dominate a game, and Boldin will have a couple of monster games this season. Slaton could get dinged, or see more of a split with Moats/whoever if he's not careful.

I'm staying away from Larry Johnson. He's running hard, but will he continue to play strong as the team continues losing or will he mail it in? I bought into Jamaal Charles before the season, and now can't give him away in my main dynasty league. I'll only sniff around KC receivers on the trade block (Bowe) or waiver wire (Wade).

I'm expecting the Panthers to get back on track - even if it's short lived. They should be able to run all day against the Redskins, and then set up the play action to Steve Smith. Their defense is banged up too, and they'll have to keep scoring to stay in it.

If you had better options I would dump DW, but I don't like any of the receivers you listed more than him in a dynasty league. He could easily play the Kelley Washington role (or Mark Clayton role) in that offense if he ever got a chance...and stayed healthy! Love his talent, just might be too banged up too often to get on the field. Furrey could be out of the league next year. Urban is a hard worker, but a role player tops IMHO. Camarillo maybe, but the Dolphins aren't going to be the greatest show on turf anytime soon.

Ryan is an interesting option. We discussed him before we did the waiver wire special, and here's my take...8 of his 18 targets have come in garbage time in the 4th quarter. 12 of his 18 targets have come when the Chiefs are down by a big margin. Now, KC should have plenty of garbage time the rest of the year, but I like other receiving options there like Bradley or Wade more than Ryan. He's one to keep an eye on, as he's got 11-97-2 this year, but I'm not pulling the trigger yet.

yes, we can expect similar upside from Lynch, and the split overall was 60Jackson/40Lynch last week. Whispers/rumors have the Bills moving more towards 50/50, with Lynch eventually being on the other side of the 60/40 split. Lynch has not been out due to injury, but still has to get up to "game speed" When he's back (should be soon) we'll see good things from him. Jackson and Lynch could both have 100 yard games against the Browns.

Has Burelson taken a backseat to Branch or will things get back to normal with Hassleback healthy?
I touched on this a little bit in the show, but I think it's a one week mirage from Branch. I am not a believer, and expect Burleson to get back on track.

Brandon Jacobs here. The Giants should be able to do what they want to against the Raiders, and David Carr may be under center if Eli can't play through his foot pain. That means more leaning on the ground game. Jacobs has been disappointed in himself so far this year, and this could be the game where the GMen say "okay, do your thing" and he has a monster game. Bradshaw is a little dinged up, so Jacobs may even see more work than usual.Moreno may get a slight uptick in carries with CBuck out, but it won't be that large. The Pats know they must disrupt the rhythm and timing of the offense, and that means making them one dimensional. They will try to take Moreno out of the game and force Kyle Orton to beat them.
