Damn, you guys really, really don't dig Lawrence Timmons at all.

I was never that enamoured with the selection at the spot they took him, but I didn't hate it. He's, what, 21 or 22? Tough to just write him off after one year. I don't think we're talking Huey Richardson here. I think maybe any word coming out that "he won't be starting this year" before TC even kicks off may be a little bit of conjecture(this is me saying that not knowing who, exactly is saying that). Maybe it's an attempt to motivate.....well, you know. Of course, if that's what it takes to motivate the guy, THAT raises a pretty big red flag to me.

As much as Mike Tomlin flat-out wooed this kid like a schoolgirl a year ago, followed by the selection of Woodley, I was convinced the "Tomlin 2" was coming to town sooner than later. If that's not the case, then why bother taking a guy like Timmons in the first place?

And just to throw it out there....I think the Browns could easily win only 7-8 games in '08. Yeah, they look pretty good on paper, as of today, but it sure seems that they're depending on an awful lot of "iffy" types to make a big impact(Rogers, Stallworth, Anderson and Scissor Legs all could just as easily implode as not. Giving up a guy like Bodden for an aging, fat, unmotivated DT doesn't sound like such a hot idea to me either. ) Who'd they beat last year that was a contender anyway? Seattle? That's about it.

Looks like they're SOS will be a lot tougher this year, so there should be ample opportunity for them to prove me wrong. I just don't think they will. They've got some nice young players, especially on offense, but I dunno. I just don't see them as an automatic 10 win team.

Hi Bloom I was wondering who do you like in cleveland to be the more productive LB, Leon Williams or DQ. Im thinking Williams right now, he's playing the Belichick LILB which has been gold, and much more productive than the RILB DQ is playing, what are your thoughts on the LB situation? You said you like DQ to have 120 tackles, I just dont feel the 3-4 Belichick defense has that type of upside.

Jackson had 100 tackles in 14 games last year, with Rogers running interference and a 16 game season, i think 120 is in his reach.
