We've got two more preview shows coming today. Editing part one right now and went with a little 'Back in Black' but I'll hook up some Symphony X for you as the bumper for part two!

Awesome! Thanks Cecil. Can't go wrong with a little (or a lot for that matter) AC/DC. I knew you to be a rock-n-roller, but wasn't sure if you were familiar with Symphony X. Will be great to hear them on the podcast. Rock on  and let's get ready for some real freakin football tonight!!

I must compliment you guys. I have not had much time at all this season to spend in the Shark Pool. Haven't had much time to do my own legwork at all. For each of the past two years, I've tried to find a good Fantasy Football podcast. I was an idiot. I was looking on Podcast Alley and a few other sites. Just about every podcast aggregator out there was pointing to dumb, dead blogs which featured dumb, dead podcasts, full of promise, but no delivery.

So, subscribed to FBGs again this year, for to get the daily emails during the season, and found your podcasts (which, it seems, are free content anyways). Managed to listen to just about every single one in the course of driving here and there this summer, and it's been very very helpful. Thanks!

Quick fun question: What was the craziest draft selection you experienced this season?

We had Eli Manning go in the first round of a 14 team (4 pt per TD) league and there was no homerism involved. The manager honestly felt that was the right place to pick him.

Thanks Guys,

Jonathan

plax went in the 7th in one of my leagues because the dude heard Plax's mom say he was getting out.

Patrick Willis was drafted in round 2 of my 10-team league (online draft) where do use IDP players, but they are only worth a few points every game.

Topes, thanks for listening! We've been doing the show about 5 years now and it continues to grow in popularity across the web! We appreciate everyone for listening out there because we love talking about the great game that all of us love. We'll put out 250-300 episodes this year as there is NO offseason for The Audible. :lmao:

Not in one of my leagues, but one of our listeners (D in Denver) had a draft where Steven Jackson fell to the 4th round!

Any love for the Maiden as intro music?

Also Cec, what's the better album: Rust in Peace or Peace Sells (but Who's Buying?)

Just listening: swing and a miss on into music...but I've come to expect excellence

had to go with 'Saints are coming' by U2/Green Day for the Saints v Vikings show!Love some Maiden, and my 11 year old son is getting into them as well. He got Piece Of Mind for Christmas and barely takes it out of his stereo. Plus he loves listening to 'Die With Your Boots On' before his football games. :lmao:Peace Sells has my favorite Megadeth song of all time 'The Conjuring' but it's too hit and miss. Rust in Peace is a great album from top to bottom. Just saw Megadeth, Testament, and Slayer 2 weeks ago here in Denver. Megadeth did Rust in Peace in it's entirety .... soooooooo good.
