I was listening to the Barber Shop on Sirius NFL Radio and one of them(sorry, can't tell their voices apart) commented that Ricky Williams is not getting back in the NFL. He said no GM would take him. What do you guys think are the chances that Ricky is allowed back in and lands a job somewhere?

Personally, I think that he will be back playing somewhere next year.

HOGWASH! I cannot wait to see his preformance against CFL defences. With the running power he has, or had, This should be a great indicator of where he can be phyfically against pro competition ( even if it is the CFL) He workload in the CFL should be full time. Less than the NFL because the game seems to have a lot more passing plays than the Run.

Run Rickey Run!

I'm not sure of his contract specifics, but I thought the Phins still had him for next year for a bargain price of $800 grand and some change. So I would think that IF he wanted to play, then he'll be in the NFL

Ricky hasn't wanted to play in three years, but he had to because of the money.

Simple logic puzzle. Ricky wants to get paid (or not have to pay back the signing bonus). Ricky can only accomplish this by playing football. Therefore Ricky wants to play. His motivation to want to play may be off, but he most definitely wants to play...

If players like Chris Henry and Marcus Vick can get/keep jobs in the NFL someone will give Ricky a shot.

Yes, Vick went the same organization as Ricky so I think at least Miami would take him back (again)

I wouldn't mind watching Rickey in the CFL. Is there any possibility of watching CFL in the US?
HEY, we have free trade don't we, underground tunnels in British Columbia, and the CanadArm on the Shuttle. Heck, we should be able to let you's have a football game..? ;)

Hi BB,In my opinion, he'll absolutely be in the NFL in 2007.

Last I heard, Saban was requiring the CFL team Ricky signs with to release him in November. From what I've heard in the South Florida media, it seems assumed that he'll be back with the Dolphins next season.
