"The NBA's first round is unwatchable! So many of the series are uncompetitive and sweeps! We should fix this by having the bottom teams play more games before they go on to face the top seeds, who are now getting even more time to rest!"I always like when the NHL gets grief for too many teams in the playoffs when I think percentage-wise the NBA already has more teams make the playoffs
I listened to the bit he did about the Oscars, because I really like Wesley Morris and movies. Simmons was a ####### ####### throughout.I always like when the NHL gets grief for too many teams in the playoffs when I think percentage-wise the NBA already has more teams make the playoffs

His undying love for that pretentious box of farts The Master only reinforces how much of a Hollywood doosh he has become.I listened to the bit he did about the Oscars, because I really like Wesley Morris and movies. Simmons was a ####### ####### throughout.
He's so clueless. "My wife likes to tell this story to all her friends, but she always distorts it to make it sound like I knew she was sick before she went to the bathroom."Insisting a girl you're on a date with eat clam chowder when she says she has a shellfish allergy has to be shtick, right?
Eh, his wife is a St Bonnie’s grad and grew up in upstate NY. Marrying Bill saved her from a career at Chotchkie’s married to a dairy farmer. He's so clueless. (AS IF THAT MAKES A ####### DIFFERENCE!)

lmao how is this a "bad take"?Police dogs are good, emotional dogs are bad. Something to that effect.
It's not a bad take, but Bill is so sensitive that he can't handle the slightest bit of criticism. Also, he probably could have phrased things differently -- if he had said "fake support animals are bad" instead of "emotional support dogs are bad", then he probably wouldn't have received a bunch of backlash from owners of legitimate support dogs.lmao how is this a "bad take"?
Right. It was apparently a comment following up an article he'd posted earlier about people who were abusing the ability to bring an emotional support animal on an airplane. Which is bad, but he lumped them all in together. And then after trying to clarify, he linked some trash-### "Vox" article about how nobody knows if emotional support animals actually are helpful. It's not a bad take, but Bill is so sensitive that he can't handle the slightest bit of criticism. I still haven’t read the right “What the hell happened to Kevin Ollie at UConn?” story. He won a title in 2014 and could have had any open NBA job for the next 2 years. Now he’s unemployed?

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO tone deaf. Dush bagg.Shouldn't he be prepping for another Durant podcast?
Just finished watching it and I agree it was really good. I could listen to people talk about Andre all day, so I kind of wish they had more interviews with different wrestlers. They did a great job overall with it, though.Andre documentary was fantastic. Say what you will about BS or his role in making this film, but it was outstanding. Far better than the Ric Flair 30 for 30.
It was good....and it was better than the Ric Flair documentary......but it fell short of being on the same level as the classic 30 For 30s.Andre documentary was fantastic. Say what you will about BS or his role in making this film, but it was outstanding. Far better than the Ric Flair 30 for 30.
I thought it was good but not great. Felt lacking to me. It was super weird how 50 minutes in it became a Hulk Hogan documentary. That was startling. I feel like they could have told that story without so much Hulk backstory.Andre documentary was fantastic. Say what you will about BS or his role in making this film, but it was outstanding. Far better than the Ric Flair 30 for 30.
Serious? It's cause you are a Warriors fan and the only athlete he ever "interviews" (i.e. "fellates") is Durant, isn't it? He's great with Sal. I listened to the last Harallalabobb one, but otherwise I've given up.I only listen to Simmons talk to Haralbob orinterview athletesCousin Sal. Otherwise he's unbearable.
Correction, he's apparently on the Ringer wrestling podcast today. I'll listen to Bill talk about stupid wrestling too. I am sure he'll make me laugh on that topic.Serious? Eh. Not interested in listening to two idiots making sports bets.Serious? It's cause you are a Warriors fan and the only athlete he ever "interviews" (i.e. "fellates") is Durant, isn't it? He's great with Sal. I listened to the last Harallalabobb one, but otherwise I've given up.
I probably wouldn’t have noticed this unless you pointed it out, but it was pretty bad.Got sucked in and started listening to this dumb podcast with Windhorst (who I like fwiw). They're discussing Lebron theories, and Simmons asks with an arched eyebrow if Windhorst knows who reps Embiid. "CAA?...WMG? I'm having a brainfart." Simmons then drops on him that it's Leon Rose. Windhorst says "Oh, right CAA." (Rose works for CAA), and Simmons just keeps trucking over him.
He's the heir to the Sports Pope.
The difference between listening to him vs Nate Duncan is staggering, but I enjoy both. Bill reminds me of talking to my dumb friends.I still like him.

He's not for everyone, that's for sure.Nate Duncan is so mind numbingly boring.
totally agree, though i did like that segmentI don't know who the woman was that Simmons had on to talk about SNL, but she had the worst vocal fry I ever heard. Couldn't make it more than 2 minutes.
It could legitimately be used to torture information out of suspected terrorists.
Same thing for me, but I think I only made it about 20 seconds.I don't know who the woman was that Simmons had on to talk about SNL, but she had the worst vocal fry I ever heard. Couldn't make it more than 2 minutes.
