The Birther Conspiracy Thread (3 Viewers)

LOL at this thread length.

News update today, the State of Hawaii did not destroy the paper records. This should give the conspiracy some legs. :goodposting:

But seriously, beyond any natural born citizenship issues, why woudl President Obama refuse to make public the long form birth certificate? What potential gain is there in refusal to submit a form we all must submit at various times in our lives?

So now that you are quoting Ann Coulter as an authority on legitimacy, I offer you her conclusion on nationalized healthcare, "All the problems with the American health care system come from government intervention, so naturally the Democrats' idea for fixing it is more government intervention. This is like trying to sober up by having another drink. "

:goodposting:

finally, after almost two years, the state of Hawaii is now confirming Hawaii birth.

Oh yeah, and the original docs still exist according to the statement, so CNN can suck it - yet another blow to their credibility.

From a legal sense, for the first time, an official authority has verified his US birth.

Is this over, then? Or are you still suspicious?

I'm surprised it took them so long to create some "original" docs. You figure with all the technology available these days, you can forge this kind of thing faster.

The initial forgery needed some tweaking.

HONOLULU – State officials in Hawaii on Monday said they have once again checked and confirmed that President Barack Obama was born in Hawaii and is a natural-born American citizen, and therefore meets a key constitutional requirement for being president.

They hoped to stem a recent surge in the number of inquiries about Obama's birthplace.

"I ... have seen the original vital records maintained on file by the Hawaii State Department of Health verifying Barack Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii and is a natural-born American citizen," Health Director Dr. Chiyome ####ino said in a brief statement. "I have nothing further to add to this statement or my original statement issued in October 2008 over eight months ago."

So-called "birthers" — who claim Obama is ineligible to be president because, they argue, he was actually born outside the United States — have grown more vocal recently on blogs and television news shows.

####ino issued a similar press release Oct. 31, but was prompted to speak out again because of the renewed attention on Obama's beginnings. Hawaii's Health Department has been flooded in recent weeks with questions from individuals and several national TV news networks asking for proof that Obama was indeed born in Hawaii.

"They just keep asking over and over and over again," Health Department spokeswoman Janice Okubo said.

The Constitution states that a person must be a "natural-born citizen" to be eligible for the presidency. Birthers contend that Obama's birth certificate is a fake, and many say he was actually born in Kenya, his father's homeland. They've challenged his citizenship in court.

One widely circulated YouTube clip of a town hall meeting showed a Republican congressman getting booed for saying Obama is a citizen. Talk show host Rush Limbaugh and CNN's Lou Dobbs have also raised the issue, and 10 Republican members of Congress co-sponsored a bill that would require future presidential candidates to provide a copy of their original birth certificate.

However, it appears Congress has moved on and has accepted Obama's island birthplace. The U.S. House on Monday unanimously approved a resolution recognizing and celebrating the 50th anniversary of Hawaii becoming the 50th state. A clause was included that reads: "Whereas the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama, was born in Hawaii on August 4, 1961."

State law bars the release of a certified birth certificate to anyone who does not have a tangible interest.

However, Obama's birth certificate along with birth notices from the two Honolulu newspapers were brought forward even before he took office. But that's done nothing to shake the belief by many Obama critics that the president was born abroad.

Why would the dems want to lay this completely to rest. These birthers sound like complete wackos and many republicans continue to not flat out call them crazy. This makes the republicans look nuts which could help the democrats.

This has merit.

From Joseph Farah, owner of World Net Daily:

I've got to tell you: I've been in this business a long time - 30 years of full-time professional news reporting and editing. I've never seen anything like this. We don't have a free press left in America - aside from the one you're reading. What we have is an official press - one that doesn't want any rogue journalists rocking the boat, challenging authority and watchdogging government at all levels.

This story isn't dead at all.

And that's what scares the management of CNN, the New York Times, the Associated Press and other Big Media who only recently were forced to cover this story at all through the sheer tenacity of WND, which has chronicled it tirelessly for 11 months.

What they mean is they want it dead. They're getting their butts kicked, and they don't like it. Their phones are ringing off the hook from disgruntled, disbelieving members of the public. They're losing what little credibility they had left.

The establishment press is sounding as shrill as the Obama activists. They ridicule anyone who has a mind of their own. They call people names when they don't fall into line. They attempt to humiliate those who actually do the job of a free press.

It's not the story that's dead. Instead, what you're hearing is the sound of the Big Media watching their own funeral.
He probably actually believes it.

"crazy, nutburger, demagogue, money-hungry, exploitative, irresponsible, filthy conservative imposters"
I am not sure the Obama administration has 'handled' this the best way, but then again as the OP reminds us- it does not take much for conspiracy theorists to run around convinced they know the real deep dark secret that the rest of us miss.

Ah, personal attacks. The last resort for those without logical arguments or debate skills.

The problem is that no matter what happens at this point, some "birthers" will still continue to believe that Obama isn't an American. The government can release the long-form birth certificate, and people will still claim that it's forged or point to the "destruction" accounts.

No, it is coming to the realization that debate, evidence, and logical arguments are wasted on you and wanting to know the reason why.

By far the most reasonable argument supporting the Birthers:

Is Barack Obama An American Citizen?

By Alex Knapp

Those who claim that Obama is a citizen rely too heavily on the metaphysical premise that reality is perceivable and knowable.

July 24, 2009

During the 2008 Presidential campaign, a rumor began circulating on fringe internet websites that Barack Obama was not, in fact, an American citizen. It was claimed that he was not born in the state of Hawaii, and because his mother was not yet nineteen and his father a British citizen, this meant that Barack Obama was not, legally, a citizen of the United States.

Barack Obama’s Certification of Live Birth

Despite its fringe nature, those who believe this to be true (often called “Birthers”) have been very loud in the media as of late. CNN host Lou Dobbs has expressed his skepticism that Obama is an American citizen. So, too, have prominent conservatives Rush Limbaugh, G. Gordon Liddy, and Liz Cheney.

It might seem, to the average person, that the “Birthers” must have a tough time proving their case. After all, Barack Obama has released his Certification of Live Birth (pictured here), which meets all the requirements for proving one’s citizenship to the State Department. The authenticity of the certificate has been verified by Hawaii state government. Moreover, Barack Obama’s birth announcement was found in two newspapers at the time, and such notices were provided directly by the Hawaii Department of Health.

Faced with this overwhelming evidence, the average person will no doubt shrug and consider the case closed. There is no question that the evidence points to the conclusion that Barack Obama was born in Hawaii and is therefore a “natural-born citizen.”

No question, that is, if you accept the dominant paradigm of metaphysical realism. That is, the idea that things exist independent of the mind and that those things are perceivable and knowable. Moreover, those who insist that Barack Obama is an American citizen also rely on philosophic naturalism–the idea that reality is subject to objective, knowable natural laws that can’t be tampered with.

However, if one rejects these two philosophic concepts, it’s quite easy to demonstrate that Barack Obama is not a natural-born citizen of the United States and is therefore constitutionally ineligible to be President of the United States.

Cognitive Relativism Shows That Obama Is Not A Citizen

Cognitive relativism is a school of philosophic thought that holds that an idea is only true if it is true within a particular conceptual framework that is subjective to an individual or a particular social group. With respect to the Birthers, then, we can see how Barack Obama is not an American citizen. The conceptual framework makes this an impossibility. After all, according to the Birthers, it is impossible for the short-form Certification of Live Birth to be acceptable proof that Barack Obama because their conceptual framework simply doesn’t allow for this to be true.

Accordingly, it must then be true that Barack Obama’s step-Grandmother saw him born in Kenya, even though she specifically denies that claim. Sarah Obama’s denial simply does not fit in with the conceptual framework of the Birthers, and so what she says cannot be true, and Barack Obama must have been born in Kenya. It’s a simple as that. Thus, because Barack Obama was born in Kenya, the law in 1961 means that his mother’s citizenship was not sufficient to grant American citizenship to Barack Obama. Therefore, Barack Obama is not a citizen.

The Law Of Attraction Shows That Obama Is Not A Citizen

Proving that Barack Obama is not an American citizen is not necessarily dependent on cognitive relativism. Other explanations exist as well. For example, in her book The Secret, Rhonda Byrne has discovered the heretofore unknown “Law of Attraction.” This “Law”, which according to Byrne underlies the entire functioning of the universe, states that thoughts themselves have an “energy” that is capable of controlling the universe by “attracting” reality to one’s thoughts. This is not easy, but it can happen with just a few steps:

1. Know what you want and ask the universe for it.

2. Feel and behave as if the object of your desire is on its way.

3. Be open to receiving it.

For the Birthers, what they want is unequivocal proof that Barack Obama was not born in the United States and is therefore not a citizen. Now, if the Birthers follow these three steps, the universe will make it happen. Indeed, since the Law of Attraction underlies the universe (no matter what science and reason dictate), it is very clear that when the Birthers follow these three steps, the very structure of space-time will alter. We will find Obama’s certified birth certificate fade, Back to the Future style, replaced with documents showing that he was really born in Kenya.Impeachment will soon follow.

The Norse Myths Show That Obama Is Not A Citizen

Another metaphysical possibility demonstrating that Obama is not a citizen is Norse Mythology. Prominent in Norse myth is the God Loki, who is a trickster god associated with fire and magic. Loki, like other gods, has enormous power over the universe. Indeed, in the Marvel Comics saga Ultimates 2, it was revealed that Loki has the power to shuffle the very fabric of space and time itself, making things disappear from perception. Loki used these powers in the Ultimates 2 saga to ensure that Thor was captured and imprisoned so that he could not interfere with Loki’s conquest of Asgard.

Clearly, Loki could have used his powers to change the fabric of space-time in order to make it appear that Obama was born in Hawaii when he, in fact, wasn’t. But why would Loki do such a thing? Simple. Loki is fated, according to Norse myth, to bring about Ragnarok–the end of the world. However, it is clear from the sagas that Ragnarok must be preceded by Fimbulvetr, the winter of winters. Fimbulvetr is described as being three years of winter with no summer in between.

What does this have to do with Obama? It’s simple. Obama has been essential in pushing through cap and trade legislation through the United States Congress, and his Administration has made it a major part of its agenda. But as Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle point out in their tome Fallen Angels, preventing the greenhouse effect would lead the Earth into a devastating ice age. In other words, Obama’s Cap and Trade Agenda will directly lead to Fimbulvetr. As no real American would sponsor legislation that would lead to the Twilight of the Gods, it was necessary for Loki to use his powers to make Obama appear to be an American citizen so that Obama’s election to the Presidency would be assured.

Clearly, Loki’s influence into American Presidential elections should be stopped and Obama should be immediately impeached for making use of a foreign power to obtain the Presidency.

Conclusion

While traditional adherence to quaint philosophic concepts might make it appear that the evidence overwhelmingly favors the conclusion that Barack Obama is a United States citizen, it is clear that this cannot be the case so long as we don’t pay any attention to the idea that there is an objective reality.

Cognitive Realism, the Law of Attraction, and Norse Mythology all provide plausible philosophic justification for ignoring evidence and logic. Accordingly, because Obama’s claim to American citizenship is only supported by evidence and logic, he must not be an American citizen. Thus, Barack Obama is not eligible to be President of the United States.

It’s perfectly logical.

Actually, it's quite complicated due to the aging processes of the paper, the ink, and paper and ink together....

I'm glad that they've finally shown some respect for the Constitution, by getting a legal certification, from an official authority of natural birth, rather than just taking the word of a few websites. I'll always wonder why it took so long and what it is they are trying to hide by not releasing the full document. My best guess is the the long form says "Religion:Muslim" or something else they don't want out there.

Man, if we could get larryboy in here, we could shut this bad boy down and have all the FFA's crazies locked up in one thread...

Accidentally landed on msnbc for a second...

They had a commercial on that was a teaser for what they would be covering today. I was struck that the end was 'and the GOP birther conspiracy continues to boil'.

GOP? Really? What GOP leadership is pushing this? Is the RNC pushing this? Gee, I wonder if msnbc is trying to make this all sound like a mainline GOP thing to try to marginalize the party. How pathetic.

If you've watch the way GOP Congress Critters answer the question of where the President was born, the only logical conclusion is that it's GOP conspiracy. Instead of stating fact simply and pissing off the crazies, they have opted to try and be cute about it and it's blowing up in their faces. Innuendo is a common techinque of the GOP - it's why folks like Palin can essentially say New York is not part of America (see rambling resignation announcement 1).-QG

I have never seen anything from a Republican that has ever stated anything other than 'Obama is a citizen'. From back in the campaign when McCain said it to a youtube post earlier in this thread where the Congressman stating it in response to the lady screaming about her father serving this nation. I get the RNC update email and it has never been brought up in there. Wanting to label it to a party to try to marginalize the party is one thing and reality is another. Keep watching msnbc though, I am sure you will keep getting fed the stuff what you want to believe.ETA: Even if you find a 'Republican' or two that is pushing this conspiracy theory that does not mean it is a GOP initiative. So, spare me some youtube you drudge up to show some 'Republican' saying something as proof that it is a GOP owned view.

There's a YouTube vid in linked to in this thread somewhere that has a bunch of (assumedly Republican) congressmen refusing to say they thought Obama was born in Hawaii. Also, Rush Limbaugh is the head of the Republican Party, and he's been on this thing, I guess. HTH. :goodposting:

Serious question. Has anyone seen his belly button? The guy might be a test tube baby. He doesn't look anything like his "parents".

That Commie Pinko National Review

July 30, 2009

by Ed Brayton

Stop me if you've heard this one before:

Conservative publication/leader says birthers are wrong.

Wingnuts go [crazy] and denounce that conservative publication/leader as French-speaking, terrorist-loving, cheese-eating surrender monkeys who hate God and probably eat arugula too.

In this case, it's the National Review, whose editors effectively squashed all this birther [nonsense] in a recent column:

The fundamental fiction is that Obama has refused to release his "real" birth certificate. This is untrue. The document that Obama has made available is the document that Hawaiian authorities issue when they are asked for a birth certificate. There is no secondary document cloaked in darkness, only the state records that are used to generate birth certificates when they are requested.

If one applies for a United States passport, the passport office will demand a birth certificate. It defines this as an official document bearing "your full name, the full name of your parent(s), date and place of birth, sex, date the birth record was filed, and the seal or other certification of the official custodian of such records." The Hawaiian birth certificate President Obama has produced--the document is formally known as a "certificate of live birth"--bears that information. It has been inspected by reporters, and several state officials have confirmed that the information in permanent state records is identical to that on the president's birth certificate--which is precisely what one expects, of course, since the state records are used to generate those documents when they are requested. In other words, what President Obama has produced is the "real" birth certificate of myth and lore. The director of Hawaii's health department and the registrar of records each has personally verified that the information on Obama's birth certificate is identical to that in the state's records, the so-called vault copy. Given that fact, we are loath even to engage the fanciful notion that President Obama was born elsewhere, contrary to the information on his birth certificate, but we note for the record that his mother was a native of Kansas, whose residents have been citizens of the United States for a very long time, and whose children are citizens of the United States as well.

Freepers, are you ready for your closeup?
A. It's not a fantasy. Why doesn't Chairman Zero show us the BC and just make us look bad, eh faux conservatives??

Why did he issue an executive order his first day in office sealing all his records, college, birth, everything! You brown nose clowns over there aren't curious about any of this?

B. Mebbie Bambi WAS born here.

Whithout SEEING THE DAMN CERTIFICATE we will never know, WILL WE?

Am I supposed to take him ON FAITH?

Not hardly.

At the VERY LEAST, there is something on Bambi's BC, or collich applications, or grant applications, or transcripts, or other stuff (ALL SEALED) Bambi does NOT want us to see.

I WON'T LET THIS GO AWAY--NEITHER SHOULD YOU!

C. Um "inspected by several reports" HORSE####! That would be against Hawaiian Law AND reports are not document experts. No Sale!

D. it is all part of the same web of lies that the POSOTUS is fabricating. This Kenyan buttwipe needs to realize he may or may not be legaly the president....but if he tries to touch the constitution with his criminal touch (he did promise to obey and protect and follow the constitution) he will be in a world of hurt....and wind up losing states to secession, and where that will follow.

My favorite was this:
Isn't Factcheck.org a Soros shell anyway?

Which was answered by another ignoramus:
It's Annenburg Factheck. You know, Annenburg that Obeyme and Ayres worked for?

Actually, Factcheck.org is funded by the Annenbergs. They are very prominent Republican contributors and supporters. I mean, they're obviously commie pinko bastards for not realizing that Obama is a secret Muslim illegal alien.

Is this conspiracy drying up? Hardly! I will be posting some articles from World Net Daily, to demonstrate that, despite the hopes of some reasonable conservatives around here, this story is not going away.

Vanished: Obama exposer disappears off Net

Owner vows: 'This guy is coming down, there's nothing anybody can do about it'

TheObamaFile.com, an extensive information depot questioning Barack Obama's eligibility to hold the office of president, has vanished off the Internet, and its publisher believes the political end is also near for the commander in chief.

"This guy is coming down, there's nothing anybody can do about it," declares Parker Shannon, a 70-year-old retiree who has documented alleged violations by Obama for the past two years from his home in suburban Boston.

But Shannon stresses his decision to shut down the site had nothing to do with any kind of pressure from the government.

"The Obama camp didn't get to me. They can't," he told WND. "What got to me is my fellow Americans, the cheap bastards."

"I'm disappointed," he said, explaining he lives on Social Security and a small amount of retirement money. "I just am tired of doing what I'm doing, and I get 50 e-mails a day telling me I'm a great patriot and they're praying for me. I don't want to hear it. Just send me $10."

Shannon says he spent 60 to 70 hours a week on his efforts and received only $240 in the entire two years despite displaying prominent donation buttons. The home page now just has a logo and the words, "Closed. Lack of support."

"There was no warning. This is freaky scary. " said Tony Licursi of Kennesaw, Ga., of the sudden shutdown. "There was more info there than [Roman historian] Tacitus could've ever dreamed."

Shannon says he decided to pull the plug on the Obama File after celebrating his 70th birthday last night, and he is now going to reassess what to do with his reams of information, including the possibility of writing a book.

"I've got more stuff on Obama than anybody on the planet. I'm not gonna let it go to waste," he said, adding, "I'm not doing it for free anymore."

Shannon's site didn't claim Obama is not an American citizen. In fact, it clearly stated, "Obama is a citizen. He's just not a natural born citizen."

The phrase "natural born citizen" is key, because the Constitution, Article 2, Section 1, states, "No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President."

Shannon featured charts and quotes from Congress on his page claiming a person needs to have both parents as U.S. citizens to be considered a "natural born" citizen, as opposed to just being born in the U.S., which would make someone a "native born" citizen.

His site explained: "Obama is not a 'natural born citizen' because his father was a Kenyan national and a British subject. To be a natural born citizen, a person's parents must BOTH be citizens of the United States of America. Further, that person must be born in the United States."

Parker Shannon of the Obama File highlighted excerpts from the 1st U.S. Congress in his effort to demonstrate a natural born citizen must be the child of two U.S. citizens.

The precise meaning of the phrase is in legal dispute, with some constitutional scholars such as Prof. Jack Chin of the University of Arizona telling WND, "It doesn't have anything to do with who your parents are."

Chin, who argued 2008 Republican candidate John McCain was not a natural born citizen due to a glitch in the law when the senator was born in the Panama Canal Zone in 1936, believes children of foreigners who are not diplomats can actually be candidates for the highest office in America as long as they're born on U.S. soil.

"Absolutely," Chin said. "They can run for president."

Shannon also claims a widely circulated image of a Certification of Live Birth often touted by the White House and some members of the national media as proof Obama was born in Hawaii is a forgery.

He cites as just one example the use of the term "African" to describe the race of Obama's father on the COLB.

Parker Shannon of the Obama File says the use of the word "African" to denote the race of President Obama's father is evidence the Certification of Live Birth touted by the Obama camp is actually a forgery.

"There is a narrow list of [acceptable] words, none of which are 'African,' which is what is on the Certification of Live Birth. Whatever [expletive deleted] liberal counterfeited the thing couldn't bring himself to say 'Negro.'"

Indeed, a 1961 summary of U.S. vital statistics by the Department of Health, Education and Welfare (now known as Health and Human Services) indicates:

Births in the United States in 1961 are classified for vital statistics into white, Negro, American Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Aleut, Eskimo, Hawaiian and Part-Hawaiian (combined), and "other nonwhite." The category "white" includes, in addition to persons reported as "white," those reported as Mexican or Puerto Rican. With one exception, a reported mixture of Negro with any other race is included in the Negro group; other mixed parentage is classified according to the race of the nonwhite parent and mixtures of nonwhite races to the race of the father.

Many people remain unaware that someone doesn't even have to be born in Hawaii to receive a COLB, as those birth documents can be granted to children born out of state or even America.

To date, Obama has steadfastly refused to release his long-form hospital-generated birth certificate including details such as the name of his birth hospital and attending physician.

But his original birth certificate is not the only document at issue. WND has reported that among the documentation not yet available for Obama includes his kindergarten records, Punahou school records, Occidental College records, Columbia University records, Columbia thesis, Harvard Law School records, Harvard Law Review articles, scholarly articles from the University of Chicago, passport, medical records, files from his years as an Illinois state senator, Illinois State Bar Association records, any baptism records and his adoption records.

Shannon expects the process of removing all pages from his site to take several days, but he expects the information revealed to this point will lead to the political demise of Obama.

"It's out in the open now. It's viral, as they say, on the Internet," he said. "The game's afoot, there's enough guys out there that have entered the fray. Nature will take it's course.

"I just wonder when the world is gonna discover the son of a b-tch is a communist."

Within three hours of WND posting this article, Shannon posted a few paragraphs of explanation on the Obama File.

He concluded by stating: "This isn't about money. I do not want any contributions at this point. If you send me any money, I will just send it back – and I'll pay the PayPal fee – costing me more money.

"I realize I sound #####y, but I'm discouraged – yeah, and angry. You want me to fight the fight, but you don't want to give me any bullets. I'm done. I'm going to the beach."

Note: Members of the news media wishing to interview Joe Kovacs, Jerome Corsi, Joseph Farah, Chelsea Schilling, Les Kinsolving, Drew Zahn or Bob Unruh on this issue, please contact WND.

finally, after almost two years, the state of Hawaii is now confirming Hawaii birth.Oh yeah, and the original docs still exist according to the statement, so CNN can suck it - yet another blow to their credibility. From a legal sense, for the first time, an official authority has verified his US birth.
Is this over, then? Or are you still suspicious?
I'm glad that they've finally shown some respect for the Constitution, by getting a legal certification, from an official authority of natural birth, rather than just taking the word of a few websites. I'll always wonder why it took so long and what it is they are trying to hide by not releasing the full document. My best guess is the the long form says "Religion:Muslim" or something else they don't want out there.
I honestly feel bad for you.

New movie tackles Obama eligibility

Confused by media propaganda? Get the facts

WASHINGTON – WND Editor Joseph Farah has produced the first major DVD documentary on the critical issues surrounding the constitutional eligibility of Barack Obama to serve as president – but it wasn't easy.

In fact, during the course of shooting and editing "A Question of Eligibility," the award-winning filmmaking team, including veterans of many controversial movie projects, made the unusual request to keep its identity secret for fear of retribution from the administration.

"That's how hot this topic is," said Farah. "That's how hot this movie is."

"A Question of Eligibility" is expected to ship to customers on Aug. 4, the date Obama claims as his 48th birthday. Preorders are being accepted exclusively at the WND Superstore.

"I guess you could say it's a special birthday surprise for Obama," said Farah. "But, honestly, I don't think he'll like it. In fact, I believe the facts revealed in this documentary keep Obama awake at night. This eligibility issue is the only issue that threatens not only the future of his presidency, but almost everything he thinks he has already accomplished as president."

In "A Question of Eligibility," Farah chose four key presenters to bring the issue home – WND senior staff writer Jerome Corsi, the No. 1 New York Times bestselling author of "The Obama Nation"; Orly Taitz, one of the most visible attorneys involved in filing lawsuits challenging Obama to produce proof of his qualifications for office; Alan Keyes, a participant in one of those lawsuits, a presidential candidate himself, and the Republican candidate who opposed Obama in his successful bid to become a U.S. senator, the job that brought him to national attention; and Janet Porter, an activist and pundit who writes a weekly column for WND.

"What we have produced here is a compelling and shocking documentary that will appeal both to those already steeped in the details of the eligibility story and those who need a video introduction to the major issues," said Farah.

It's a fast-moving, original work shot entirely in Washington, D.C., and based on the voluminous investigative work of the news agency that has spent more time and money on the story than all other news media combined – the WND news team, said Farah.

"I'm hoping people will purchase a copy for themselves and pass it around to their friends – devotees of the issue and skeptics alike," said Farah. "I'm hoping people will share it in their living rooms, at tea party planning sessions and especially with their members of Congress – so officials in Washington can see firsthand that they've been sold a bill of goods about Obama's qualifications."

Farah says sooner or later the truth will come out on Obama's failure to prove his eligibility and maybe even his inability to prove it.

"Obama is choreographing a top-down revolution in America – one from which it may take generations to extricate ourselves," says Farah. "It will be a shame if we learn he was ineligible to serve in the office of president only after he's gone. If we can force the issue to be addressed while he is still in office, we have a chance of turning back the clock on many of the destructive actions he has taken already. If he's not able to prove his constitutional qualifications, we might all be able to wake up one day and think of the Obama administration as just a bad dream."

The brand-new WND FILMS videodocumentary "A Question Of Eligibility: Is Obama's Presidency Constitutionally Legitimate?" is available for pre-sale now, for delivery on Barack Obama's birthday, Aug. 4.

That certificate of live birth as proof is hilarious. What it isn't is a birth certificate.

What I don't understand, if there is no basis for any of this, is why Obama simply won't release his birth certificate and allow access to his college records.

He does that and any controversy is over, period, and all conspiracy theorists have egg all over their face. Instead, he invests a million dollars a year every year in paying a law firm to ensure that no one has any access to any of these records. He's intentionally giving credibility to the argument.

That looks like smoke to me. Is there fire?

Oh, and to those who say they don't care - the Constitution still means something in this country. You can't invoke it when it favors you and ignore it when it's inconvenient. The Constitution is very direct and clear on this issue.
