After losing my 2nd final in 2 years in my big money league, I joined FBG in 08 and named myself fantasycurse... If you saw how stacked the teams I lost with were, you would understand why... The curse has continued as I've been the 1 seed 3 times since 08 and still hadn't won this one league. This year nothing was left to chance; My team was too stacked, my sleepers were too good, my trades were on point, & I picked the right starters with almost pinpoint precision. I finish this season 14-1, the one blemish on my record was avenged in the finals today!!

#shareyourFANTASYfootballstory

I pulled one out of my fanny tonight. It's a long story, but I needed Cutler to throw either 2 TD's or 1 TD and a 2 point conversion. Didn't think I ha a chance there at the end, and then the miracle happened. I actually feel bad for the team I beat. What a tough loss.

Currently only play in one league (a deep dynasty in its third year). I've now won back-to-back-to-back championships.

Feel bad for my competition. He was on pace to beat me, but the PHI blowout got so out of hand that Foles, Marshall, and Bennett were all benched with quite a bit of time left.

WOOHOOOO THE FANTASY TITLE IS MINE!!!! My 2nd in 3 yrs 3 overall in 15 yrs. 3-3 in Title games started this season 1-3 finished 11-4 #1 seed going 10-1 to finish the season!!!!

I survived Bloody Sunday for Fantasy QB Stafford gave me 8 pts he had Brees he got 15 lol

Finished the season winning the title after starting 11-0 and losing the last 2 in the regular Season. I'll take a 14-2 season (#1 seed doesn't get bye) and the ship!

Lost another by 1.6. I wanna kick Celek for his fumble.

This is my first year playing FF, won my league champ last week. My biggest mistake was trading away Gordon for Gore, what was I thinking? Without him my team was still pretty stacked. I think the key was staying active in the waiver wire, my playoff starters that came from the WW: Foles, Chiefs D, Morris(received for F.Jax who was a WW), Vereen.

I was lucky enough to pick up Foles and Stacy as well.

I dropped all of my leagues last year due to time constrictions, wound up with 1 Yahoo public league that I lost in the semi-finals in.

2 Leagues this year--just won the chip with Foles and Stacy in 1.

Advancing to next week's championship game in the other unless Roddy White goes for 150 and 2. Rocking Foles in that 1 as well.

I beat the foles/Charles owner to get back to fantasy glory in a big money league tonight.

Lesean McCoy is my hero. My whole team sputtered except for him and Stacy.

But it was McCoy who single-handedly got me the win tonight.

I still have Vernon Davis going tomorrow night and don't even need his points (currently up by 3 and have the win locked in). Almost thinking of benching him actually just in case he fumbles twice and loses it for me.

McCoy & Forte at the turn; Flash Gordon in the 9th; Foles & K.Allen on the wire; $700 in my pocket & another t-shirt for the collection!

Coasted to the Finals with a starting lineup of:

Peyton

Calvin

Desean

Keenan Allan

DeMarco Murray

Random poop of a RB(this week Dennis Johnson)

Jimmy Graham

Seattle D

Thanks much Peyton, DeMarco, Graham, and Seattle D for the lovely championship!

Due to some Sunday Night Magic from the Pats D on those Two late TD returns, and the combo of Mccoy and Foles, I managed to topple the real best team in the league to take my 5th title in our 21 years operating. This was my opponents best team ever and he was up 19 on me with Marshall still to play. Really pulled this one out of my fanny, esp with Joique Bell taken out of lineup when I heard Dennis Johnson was starting.

My poor buddy--21 years and still no title to show for it. This was his best ever lineup and he still ends up losing by 22. I kind of felt for him...for a short time!

Me too on a lot of these bro! Only guy in my lineup from the draft was McCoy, all others were waiver wire adds (Foles, Allen) and trade acquisition (AJ Green).

I only play in two leagues.

In my long-time league (18th year), I was just in my 10th Super Bowl and won my 5th championship.

And my 5th year in the other league, I'm in my 3rd championship game, and barring 25 pts from Vernon Davis tonight (non-PPR), I win my second title in that league.

For the last 15 years I've been doing fantasy football, I've always finished in the top 3-4. I haven't flat out won in about 3 seasons now. My wife won my league two years ago. Talk about hard to swallow.

At our draft this year I was laughed at for a lot of my picks. Antonio brown? Who's that clown, everyone fawned over sanders. Demarco Murray? Psssshhh what a scrub. Andrew luck? He's backup material. Taking seatles defense so early? Ha! And who is this Thomas you have at te?

Ok maybe people weren't laughing but they sure didn't take my team seriously.

I didn't really overcome much to win this season. David Wilson was a huge bust, was counting on him for my flex. Luckily I grabbed Keenan Allen. Vereen was dropped. Grabbed him and was able to get a few great games out of him. Even rivers was dropped right before our playoffs. Grabbed him, although he was awful once I picked him up (sorry rivers owners, it's my fault)

Went 11-2 on the regular season. Two losses were against teams who had the game of their season.

In our league return yards are 5/point. Ridiculous. I didn't realize how much impact it would have on players since I've never played that before. Second round of the playoffs I ended up facing a team who starts 2 kick returners at WR. Luckily Austin was out. Had I lost I would have been ticked. I had by far the best true team in the league, and to lose out to some gimmick would be crappy.

Now I'm set up great for keepers. Going to keep:

Allen (last draft pick forfeit since he was undrafted)

Thomas (second last draft pick, also a WW pick up after the draft)

And probably Antonio Brown (5th round given up- figure a top 5-10 WR in round 5 is a great steal)

Other possibilities:

Crabtree at third to last pick

Sanders who was drafted round 8

Lattimore who was a FA. Depends on what happens with gore

Anyways, it feels great to strut into this lounge, kick my feet up, and take a puff of my big fat stogie.

Life is good in the champs lounge

Happy to step on in....thanks to Shady, Forte, Gordon, Dez, Keenan, Vereen, Andre Brown, and McCown/Cutler saving me from the disaster of RGIIIrd string

Made the game in both of my leagues and looking at 1-1, losing my big league after owning everyone for the last 10 weeks. Any given sunday, right...

Peterson and Rivers killed me. My #1 pick and my QB. How can you come back from that?

Well, won my 1 point PPR league due to some decent drafting, but of course the waiver wire is what really completed the team:

Drafted: Megatron, AJ Green, Murray, Vereen

Waivers: Julius Thomas , Zac Stacy, Edelman

Hmmm, like what you've done with the place.

Two for two this year. Finally won my main league after fifteen years and four previous championship game losses. Josh Gordon propelled me down the stretch run and then Andy Dalton delivered the trophy for me. Can't tell you how relieved I am to finally win that one.

I won my office league for the second time in four years, but there are several stone-cold newbies in that one, so it's nice to win a little scratch but not the same ring to it.

Won the big $$ league I care about for the first time in 6 years - huge thanks to whoever was pimping the Bills defense in here this week - their 7 sack/2 pick shutout got me 40 points and helped me cruise to a 49 point win in the superbowl.

Thanks Eric Decker! My team took home the DDFL 2 title.

Stafford

Lacy

Spiller

Decker

Marshall

J. Nelson

A. Brown

Olsen

Crosby

Bucs D/ST

16 team auction, dynasty, salary cap model

Made a few trades to obtain a strong WR core, which paced me all year.

Won all 3 of my money leagues. Lost in all my free ones.

Some of the common players that I own in 2/3 of the leagues were:

Foles

Charles

D Thomas

Gordon

Graham

Lacy

Thanks to Dalton, Dez, Gordon, Garcon, Jimmy G and the Bills D. Can't lose unless the 49ers DEF and Boldin combine for 70 pts, guess I shouldnt count those chickens yet hah. Went from 5-5 and almost out of it to win 6 straight and my local league title, had to beat the Manning team in the semi too. Sweet!

Congrats to the OP. I definitely can relate to your scenario.

Heavy is the head that wears the crown and heavier, still, when it has heavy expectations. I came into the year in my main league as a prohibitive favorite; one of those years where playoffs are assumed and anything less than a title is utter failure. And this was the case the past few years and the team was always snake-bitten. Not this year.

I finally get to sit in this lounge at the table that has been reserved for me for 3 years and what a nice seat with a view it is!

I sincerely want to say thanks to whoever it was that had the thread going about the various consensus experts. Really getting into reading some of the opinions here, David dobbs especially, and some guys like Mike Clay, etc really helped me steer my lineups into their best position.

Cheers to the victors.

Feels so good to get my 6th title in 12 years of my main league. Started off 7-1 then lost 5 straight to end the reg. season before rebounding and pulling it off over the last 3 weeks.

During my auction one of the owners texted me and said that if I selected T. Pryor he would trade me Flacco as a backup QB (I only had M. Ryan at this point). So we made that trade the day after the auction. Then my old college roomate says he will give me Dalton for Flacco b/c he wanted him for Peyton's bye. After Julio got her I traded for RG3 thinking it was an upgrade from Ryan.

Luckily I held onto Dalton through it all and believe I was undefeated in his starts including the huge win yesterday.

And the FF MVP this year has to go to Jamaal Charles. Consistent all year, the HUGE week 15 to catapult many teams into the Super Bowl, and followed up with another solid performance.

:moneybag: :hifive: :moneybag:

After years of knocking around in the lower NoMercy leagues, I overcame the loss of Aaron Rodgers to win Piranha and it looks like I move all the way up to Great White next year. Thanks Forte, DeMarco Murray, and Decker.

Keep in mind stat corrections. Play VD.

I'm stepping in here for my gf. Her male coworkers invited her and simply wanted to take her money. She overheard them being ##### and asked me to run her team with her.

She can't wait to send an email to league later.

another win.. back to back years.. too easy. 5k straight into the bank.. thinking about going out and getting another 60 in tv for the bedroom.. not sure

I'm enjoying in the era of big QBs and stud WRs, went RB heavy (4 of first 5 picks), and just dominated the final few weeks to the title, while peyton, brees, brady et al were left in the dust with no RBs to count on, while so many stud QB/WRs whimpered out this week.

Every league is different, we skew PPR-RB superstars, another reason rule #1 should always be know your league!

Played in 3 leagues for the first time this season. Won the guppiest league last weekend (nice $800 payout).

Beat my son last night (yes, bittersweet) in league #2 thanks to Lacy/Stacy/Garcon (also have Gordan and Alshon on that team). My son had Stafford going yesterday - who ended up sinking him. $950 payout for me.

In my main 12-year auction league (no guppies) I finally won my first SB last season after many 2nd and 3rd place finishes. This season, I'm currently up by 18 with Dawson going tonight - my opponent (the Comish) has Gore. So if tonite goes well I may have my 3rd SB win this season and become this league's 1st ever back-to-back Champion. Winner payout is $800.

So, all told I have a good shot at winning 3 SB's and $2,550 this season! Big shout-out to FBG's and the SP for great advice, food for thought, great back and forth debates, etc. Its been a GREAT season!

This is the roster that won me 2k.

.5 ppr Start qb, 2 rbs, 3 wrs, te, k, def

Peyton

Decker, nelson, baldwin, white

Vereen, rainey, brown, sproles, p. Thomas, johnson

Julious thomas

Novak

Detroit

Besides the Broncos its a very mediocre squad especially the rbs but they won me a title. Beat a far superior team that had studs such as mccoy, jeffery, Jackson, lacy, aj.... he lost because he played rivers as his qb

Best fantasy season ive ever had.

I'm in ten leagues... have five championships in the bag and two more highly likely based on tonight. Made the playoffs in 9 of 10. Made some good money.

(But got killed in my guppy friends/family league... to my sister)

It's fun to see who got y'all there. For me it was j Charles forte v Davis brady from the draft and Dalton and r Jennings off waivers. A johnson(drafted) won me one game where he went off for 3 Td's

I should be happy going from 0-4 to 9-4 then grabbing the one seed and winning 12 straight however the difference between 1st and 2nd wasn't much.

I'm more concerned with my one league up twenty vs Vernon Davis. I hope I'll be joining you all but I fear the worst and a long night

For me it was:

Forte 1.12

AJ green 2.1

Murray 4.1 (David Wilson in round 3, yikes)

Antonio Brown 5.12

Seattle D 8.1

And of course the FA pick ups I mentioned:

Keenan Allen

Julius Thomas

Without those 2, no way I did as well as I did this year. They were key. Especially since I had no TE to start the year really and Wilson got hurt.

Won my redraft for the 2nd year in a row (3 years of active league). Roster wasn't too pretty but I caught a big break playing Peyton in round 1 of the playoffs with his "bad" game of 18.56. (Luck/Vjax/Crab's/Mathews/CJnoK/Graham/Wright/Novak/Buffalo) I guess I owe the title to Mathews.

Sadly my dynasty team lost in the first round with my sig roster (that one really hurt), especially now that I only have 2 picks after the 3.06.

I employed the same strategy and as soon as the cold weather rolled in, the team shifted into another gear.

Coming in to lounge it up after starting the season 0-3 and surviving choosing Trent Richardson as my keeper. :putsfeetuponcoffeetable:

The main difference between my team and the other playoffs teams, is that my team was solid up and down the lineup. Even though I chose Cutler over Dalton and Foles Week 16, my team survived because I was solid at all the other positions unlike some teams that rely on one or two players to blowup. Yeah, I'm looking at the Peyton Manning owner who has Decker, Ball, and I think another Bronco in our league that would've defeated me had I played them this week, but missed the title game because of last week's performance against the Chargers. A solid, diversified team is essential for winning championships.

Special shout outs to Peyton Manning, Josh Gordon, Dez Bryant, Marshawn Lynch and a 49ers pick six!!! 11-2 regular season champs and postseason champs in my only league. Big money as well.

Another shoutout to Footballguys who gave me the jump on guys like Andre Brown, Shane Vereen and of course KEENAN ALLEN. What a great year!

Won 3 of my 4 leagues this year. By fay my best fantasy season.

Kept the faith in Roddy White all year and he repaid me by winning me a championship last night.

I'd say my best draft pick was getting Jordan Cameron in the 10th/11th in all my leagues and being able to get Eddie Lacy in the 10th in another league. Best FA pickup was Kennan Allen, he was on all 3 of my title teams.

This was my first year with FBG and it seems to have worked out pretty well. The draft sheets I had with the VBD app worked wonders. The 10-second primer was also a great in-season tool. I'll definitely be subscribing again next year.

I won my 2 main leagues this year and $600. Great seasons by Shady, Graham, Murray, Mathews(!), Antonio Brown. But my biggest thanks goes out to Justin Tucker, who somehow got me through my semifinal. Cheers!

I'm officially welcome in the Champs Lounge. Had one of my best fantasy seasons ever making it to 3 out of 4 league championship games. Unfortunately I was runner up in 2 of the 3. Last night however, I sealed the deal in my 21 year long main money league.

12 team league, PPR, start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex, 1 K, 1 D.

Griffin III, Robert WAS QB

Smith, Alex KCC QB

Charles, Jamaal KCC RB

Johnson, Chris TEN RB

Murray, DeMarco DAL RB

Williams, DeAngelo CAR RB

Brown, Vincent SDC WR

Hankerson, Leonard WAS WR

LaFell, Brandon CAR WR

Patterson, Cordarrelle MIN WR

Sanders, Emmanuel PIT WR

White, Roddy ATL WR

Wright, Kendall TEN WR

Cameron, Jordan CLE TE

Olsen, Greg CAR TE

Hauschka, Steven SEA PK

Sturgis, Caleb MIA PK

Buccaneers, Tampa Bay TBB Def

Panthers, Carolina CAR Def

This team was carried by the strength of my RBs all season. I had RB1, RB6 and RB10 on my roster. The biggest obstacle I had to overcome was the loss of my top 2 WRs, R. White and R. Wayne. K. Wright stepped up as a regular starter and C. Patterson's coming on like a freight train the past several weeks sealed the deal.

Time kick back, light up a cigar and await my trophies arrival. Enjoy the good life boys!
