The Cream of the Crop (2012 Draft Prospects) (1 Viewer)

One I'd like to toss in the mix here is Tommy Streeter from Miami. Had a great season with very sketchy QB play. Other than Lamar Miller he was about the only bright spot on offense for the Canes.

The problem with Streeter is he only averaged about 4-5 rec a game not enough to work with. He had I great game against Virginia 7rec 176yds 2TDs but unfortunately I don't have that game. He's stock will be based primarily on his Pro/Combine numbers..........just not enough tape on him. :mellow: Kendall Wright vs Oklahoma added.

Great stuff. Thanks for posting.Personally, I'd swap Floyd for Jeffery in your rankings. And assuming your top 10 is for fantasy drafts, I think the RBs will end up being higher by the time our rookie drafts take place. I think the top of this RB class is one of the best we've seen in recent years and I suspect that a few of these guys are going to land in really attractive situations.Also, I think both Dwayne Allen and Orson Charles are guys that could end up being pretty hot fantasy commodities if they end up on the right teams. Both are pretty strong receivers that could put up big numbers and with the impact we're seeing out of young guys like Gronk, Graham and Hernandez, you can no longer ignore the TE position in fantasy drafts.

I would love it if owners in my league took guys like Barkley and Jeffrey in the top 5. I would also laugh my butt off.
 
Great videos, love me some Dwight Jones. Very hard to bring down. Looks like a late 1st/early 2nd, rookie draft pick.
 
Just watched the Lamar miller vids

Was impressed with his patience. He allowed the blocks to develop and then put his foot down and exploded through a crease

Also liked his ability to turn a two yard loss into a two or three yard gain

He didn't exhibit much power however, which is a concern for me at the next level

 
The more I see of doug Martin the more I like. Although he may not be overly impressive or jaw dropping, he is just a full speed ahead, hardnosed power back. He is constantly falling forward and fighting for extra yardage. Really nice cuts and enough quicks to make people miss. The more I see the more his running style appeals to me

:goodposting: These are my exact thought of him. I seriously doubt he'll be available considering where I'm drafting. I'll either have Kendall Wright or just go with a taxi player like Marcus Lattimore who might be still there.ETA: RGIII might be available but I have Luck on my taxi squad and I'm not sure I want to take two QBs in the same draft.

Martin is very underrated but that'll change the closer we get to the draft.

I agree. He's not as flashy as some of the backs in the class, but he doesn't have any glaring weaknesses. He can do everything pretty well. He's pretty shifty, he runs hard, he has good hands and decent speed. It's hard to imagine him being a total flop at the NFL level. He looks like a guy you could plug in and at least get adequate results from.

Maybe I'm missing the boat with Miller, but I came away very unimpressed. I think he had a total of one run in those games I watched where his burst stood out. Didn't see him running away from anyone, eluding anyone or breaking anyone's tackle.

Not sure how many games you've seen but he has the tools. Now he is still young and has a lot of maturing to do. Sometimes he's too patient with his blocks but he has the skill set for sure. Will post for vids for evaluation as time permits.
 
For the Sammy Watkins fans, make sure to check him out against WVU. WVU finds ways to make WRs look great. We made careers for Calvin Johnson and Hakeem Nicks, so be ready.

 
I dont know if its just me but im just not seeing it from David Wilson. Just seems pretty ordinary to me. Not many impressive runs. Didn't see him making people miss. Got what was blocked but not much more

Montee ball is a similar case. Running through big, well blocked holes. Didn't do much to impress with his cuts or ability to make people miss. Also didn't think he was overly powerful. Broke some tackles but nothing out of the ordinary

Think Michael Bush.Folks loved him, saw his size and figured he was a game breaker. Bush was a good if not great college RB. This is how I see Ball.
 
Curious to see if we're going to get any more vids leading up to the combine. There's some guys that I've looked for but haven't seen any solid videos of on YouTube. I would love to do more work on Michael Floyd and Kendall Wright. David Wilson too is somebody that I'm going to need to do more work on as well becuase I've cooled off on him the last month, same with Chris Polk.

Some other names that I'd like to get an extended look at - Robert Turbin, Chris Givens, Isaiah Pead, Coby Fleener

I have a dozen finished vids but I've been having some issues uploading them and I don't understand why :unsure: that includes games from Givens and Pead.I've cleaned my computer and have run virus scans and I'm not sure if it's YouTube or my machine. I'll keep plugging away and I'm still finishing some vids of other prospects that are not available.

I'd say today was a pretty good start. He's got the goods to rise on the draft boards after this week. where he ends up will play a large part in it but I guy that big and that fast is worth a look for sure.

Sorry, I didn't see this. I always thought he was high hype than substance especially about a year ago when most it not all had him the #1 ranked TE. Allen and Fleener are the targets for this year. If Charles slide in the draft he could represent some type of value but I don't have him on my radar at all.
