I never really understand all the remake attempts.  Instead of trying something original, they go back to the well to capitalize on something that was very good/popular.  The problem with this is that it almost, without question, always turns about half the people off of it because it simply isn't able to recapture the lightning in the bottle that the original did, rendering it "average".

When it comes to movies, it's just about money.  A studio spends $100m on some hunk of #### but they know they will take in $150M because of a keyword like Marvel or Transformers or Ghostbusters or Fast n Furious.

American movie goers are dumb.

Just got around to watching it and I thought the pilot was solid. I'm planning to continue to watch it. Still working, so might watch #2 tonight as well.
