The Footballguys Bowl! - Was "Interest In A Footballguys Subscriber League?" (2 Viewers)

Team 0011 is bonding on Sleeper. Planning to make the FBG draft an annual tradition & meet up at Playa Del Carmen. Keith is teasing us with pictures
Everyone in the mock we just did collectively agreed that it would be for the best if we never spoke, met, or interacted together in any way.

Restraining orders remain on the table as a possibility. Looking at you, @TheWinz
:oldunsure:

I’m guessing HSG posted just above me. I couldn’t block that guy fast enough after drafting next to him in the mock we completed earlier. Completely insufferable.

And he kept sniping my RBs, man…
Look, I can’t help that every time it was my turn the biggest tier break was at RB. Sometimes it just works out that way.

That said, I did post mocking ridicule in the chat each time, and that was admittedly a bit uncalled for. That’s on me. My bad.

Can’t believe I’m setting my alarm for 650am PDT on a Saturday morning for fantasy football.

I need to see a therapist.
Or an analyst.

Or maybe a combination of both. #ArrestedDevelopment
Ha! Best of luck and you can always blame your outcome on being out of your element. Akin to when a West Coast team travels to the East Coast for a 1 o’clock kickoff. It just ain’t natural.

I’m thankful for the 8 pm draft time tomorrow myself.

Exactly. Gotta draft from my iPad for sure since I expect to be, um, indisposed for my morning constitutional during the first couple of rounds ;)

10am draft in a few hours from the 10 spot. After sleeping on it, I have decided to pass on Garrett Wilson here. I am 100% sure he will make it to me, because the top 9 in some order will be CMC, Lamb, Hill, Chase, Hall, JJ, Bijan, Amon, and AJB. If any of these fall, they are mine. With Garrett, he is far and away the top target for the Jets. Not really worried about Aaron's Achilles, just like I'm not worried about Cousins. The only worry I have is something Kluge said about Davante/Rodgers getting their wish and teaming back up midseason. But that worry is giving me the excuse to pass on Garrett, and I really was hunting for a reason to pass. So welcome to my team, Saquon Barkley!

After the turn, here will be my top ADP choices - WR's Wilson, Nacua, and London or RB's Taylor, Gibbs, or Henry

You plead an interesting case about Wilson. Not intended as a judgmental question...ARE you comfortable with Nacua or London being your top WR if that ends up being the situation?

Seeing that we have to start 3 WR's, I tried mocking by starting WR/WR from the 10 spot and I don't like my teams. I am OK going RB/WR or WR/RB, and even starting RB/RB, as long as I go crazy taking WR's in the next 4 rounds or so. And yes, I am OK with whoever as my WR1, because everyone I draft will crush their ADP!

I did only 1 sleeper draft yesterday with some FBG'ers, and saw another one with FBG'ers a few hours later, and boy, were they different. How different you ask? QB's were typically 2-3 rounds later in one, and TE's were similar. Dak went in the 6th in one, and the 9th in the other. That's scary, but it's also good.

Wilson may not even make it to the turn. In both of my NFFC drafts so far he went 11 IIRC.

I’d probably take a flier on him there in a free league. He could have a monster season.

Hey, he lasted in our draft yesterday, remember? :P

That’s was anomalous.

Now change that user name, TheLozz!

OK, I will take Garrett, but if Kluge is right and Davante shows up in New York, you owe me hot diggity sauce for life!

Drafting from the 10 slot in 5 minutes as well @TheWinz

Good luck to us both.

Btw, I was in the 10 slot in yesterday afternoon’s mock draft and share the same basic approach as you in the first 2 rounds. Likely RB/WR and maybe WR/RB depending on if a certain couple of WRs drop to 1.10.

Good luck, everyone!

Wouldn’t that have happened by now if it was going to happen?

I know there was speculation early this off-season, but we are like 13 days from football.

Post the link to the draft when it’s done so we can mock you mercilessly compliment your drafting prowess from the 10. :pickle:
