I posted this idea earlier and have received some interest, however there is also some concern. Originally it was a pay league however, I have decided to make it a free league (possibly only minus site costs) for this year so we may test it out.
Currently we have 4 owners and would like 8 more...if trying new ideas is your cup of tea then email me at raymanning@hotmail.com
For those that know me...I am known for coming up with things that are a little different. In this case I have created the Forced Trade League.
It is called this because after each week of the regular season the winner of each game will get to make a trade with the loser of their choice. There are restrictions however to prevent teams from getting totally decimated.You can only trade for players drafted in the same round and after the trade is announced, the losing team will be able to protect a player for the next round. This is done to keep things competive as much as possible.
Scoring for this league can be found here, scoring. nothing crazy here, it is a ppr league with 2 flex spots...TE's get extra value. This league also utilizes Victory Point scoring during the regular season for standing purposes.
The regular season will be 11 weeks, everybody plays everyone else 1 time.Playoffs run from week 12-week 16
