Well done - and it seems like the 5 judges (including me) were pretty much on the same page.  I will throw out the comment I made to you when I sent my list and this is that I thought Kramer would get hurt a little in this category being from the same show as Constanza.  I think I had him lowest of the 5 of us but I wanted to put him higher - seems like my though brought that to fruition.

I think I screwed myself by not knowing about the GOAT category until after my 4th pick though. I could lose 40+ points in that ranking alone.
I didnt really know this either. It would have maybe changed my Jeopardy pick. But whatever, I didnt draft to win

Heroes

Overall, not a bad choice in the bunch.

#16 Michael Knight (1 point) - Nothing wrong with the character, but Hasselhoff has always seemed like a big wimp to me in just about everything.

#15 Steve Austin (2 Points) - He's a tough dude but how tough would he be without bionics?

#14 Jack Bauer  (3 points) - Clearly a man of action. Is he truly a hero, though? I haven't watched this show much so I may be off base with this ranking.

#13 Batman (4 points) - He never strayed from a fight or challenge but was too tongue in cheek to be ranked with many of the other choices

#12 The Lone Ranger (5 points) - Who is that masked man? Would he be as tough without Tonto?

#11 Optimus Prime  (6 points) - He's taken on some really tough foes, but he's also a robot. Some of the credit must go to the person who programmed him.

#10 Hank Schrader (7 points) - A gutty special agent who deserves bonus points for taking on the Salamanca brothers and surviving it.

#9 Jean Luc Picard (8 points) and #8 James T Kirk (9 points)  - Both of these guys had the fortitude and brains to lead Starships. Enough said.

#7 Xena (10 points) - The most macho woman ever. Don't ever piss her off.

#6 Doctor Who (11 points) - The sheer magnitude of his adventures and feats going on for such a long time deserves very high praise.

#5 Eleven (12 Points) - The girl had guts and you shouldn't ever mess with her. And she saved the whole town. A personal favorite for me.

#4 Angus MacGyver (13 points) - Is there anything he couldn't do or ad lib with some duct tape? He was like a macho version of The Professor from Gilligan's Island.

#3 Arya Stark (14 Points) - She trained to be a killer and avenged the North in great fashion. She also fearlessly dispatched The Night King.

#2 Cordell Walker (15 Points) - Nobody alive messes with Chuck Norris, everyone knows that (except Bruce Lee who was already dead by then).

#1 John Snow (16 Points) - Brave, smart, tough and always doing the right thing for the good of all. The perfect hero.

By John Stark you meant Jon Snow right? I hope.

Whoever took Jack Bauer got majorly screwed. That should be at the top. 3 points is a joke.
Fixed.

As I said, I haven't seen much of that show much and readily admitted that I could have been wrong on my ranking.

I'm going to adopt Yo Mama's format for presentation but not his flair.  I'm also going to reveal the judges scores in reverse numerical order instead of having them clearly associated judge-by-judge.

1971-1990 Drama Rankings

Combined rankings with @mphtrilogy, @Uruk-Hai, and @Yo Mama.  One tie was broken by wikkid.  Rankings among the judges were surprisingly consistent, with only a few exceptions.

The Bottom Tier

Somebody had to be at the bottom and it was these two.  It was really even that close either.  (Yes, I'm using exactly the same language as Yo Mama did.)

16 - Knight Rider (1 pt)

I feel particularly bad for this one having just seen poor Knight rank last in heroes, too.  Maybe the KITT car would have done better in supporting actor/actress (I'm not making assumptions).  Fun show but nothing to move it out of the basement for 3 of 4 judges.

0 Emmy nominations*

(Individual rankings - 2/1/1/1)

15 - Trapper John, M.D. (2 pts)

One of the other judges summarized this one well:  "Trapper John wasn't bad. It was probably better than some of the shows I ranked above it, quality-wise. But there was just no "there" there, and it's all but been forgotten nowadays."  Another judge it didn't resonate with him at this point, and I agree with that, too.

6 Emmy nominations, with 0 wins

(Individual rankings - 4/2/2/1)

*Thanks to mphtrilogy for sending the Emmy noms and wins, as I'd be too lazy to look them up just as I am likewise too lazy to verify the accuracy of what he sent.

Woohoo - it’s rankings day!!!

Batman’s not very happy a cartoon robot better known for the movies was ranked higher than him though.

14 - Dynasty (3 pts)

Fun, cheesy soap opera, but nothing outstanding about it.

24 Emmy nominations, 1 win

(Individual rankings - 7/4/4/3)

13 - Moonlighting (4 pts)

Since I was the high score on this one, I'll say that it was must-watch TV for me every week and seemed a wonderful blend of comedy and drama.  Launched Bruce Willis to becoming a major star and revitalized the lovely Cybill Shepherd's career.  Great chemistry between those two.

41 Emmy nominations, with 6 wins

1991-2020 Supporting Man Rankings

Criteria

Combined rankings with @mphtrilogy @Corporation @wikkidpissah and @AAABatteries.  This was a stacked category with some of the best television characters of all time.  Ties in the combined score were broken by who was ranked highest by the most rankers.  There wasn’t nearly the amount of variability between the judges as we had in the Supporting Woman category, so I’m sure nobody will have any issues with these rankings.

Notable exclusions that may have scored well include Jack McFarland (Will & Grace), Robert Barone (Everybody Loves Raymond), Artie (The Larry Sanders Show), and Christopher Moltisanti (Sopranos).  The depth of this category would have given reason to break it into drama and comedy subsets – more than any of the other supporting categories.

The Bottom Tier

Somebody had to be at the bottom and it was these two.  It was really even that close either.

16 - Rupert Giles (1 pts)

Played by Anthony Head on Buffy the Vampire Slayer - 0 Emmy nominations, with 0 wins

(Individual rankings - 1/1/2/3/1)

15 - Dr. John Carter (2 pts)

Played by Noah Wyle on ER - 5 Emmy nominations, with 0 wins

(Individual rankings - 2/3/1/1/2)
I picked both of these guys (Dr. Carter for Pitchfork). I think both were mid-tier picks, but what are you gonna do?

Did you get your bottom 11 reversed by mistake?

####### Robin gets 9 pts?

Sorry, Tim but it feels like you phoned in the 50-70 supporting male picks. Maybe you put equal work into ranking them, but saying you barely remember makes it sound like the criteria was overly subjective.

The "One of These Judges Is Not Like the Others"/Divergence Tier

12 - The Waltons (5 pts)

Apparently a love/hate thing going on here.

37 Emmy nominations, with 13 wins

(Individual rankings - 13/5/5/2)

11 - Magnum, P.I. (6 pts) - *lost in a tiebreaker

Kind of soap-y like Dynasty, kind of car-y like Knight Rider, and better than both.

17 Emmy nominations, with 2 wins

(Individual rankings - 11/6/5/4)

10 - The Streets of San Francisco (7 pts) - *won in a tiebreaker

Lack of Emmy hardware moved this down for some judges.

16 Emmy nominations, with 0 wins

8 - Murder, She Wrote (9 pts)

Your grandma's favorite show, along with Matlock.

41 Emmy nominations, with 2 wins

(Individual rankings - 10/8/8/6)

7 - Cagney & Lacey (10 pts)

Personally I hated this show, but I tried to give it the recognition it deserved.  Must have hit it pretty well considering our unanimity.  Impressive amount of Emmy hardware.

37 Emmy nominations, with 14 wins

Great job on an extremely difficult category.

It’s true I didn’t provide commentary. But I also didn’t phone it in. I think the ones who are best remembered is the most important factor in all categories from 1950-1970. Robin got 9 points because people remember him far better than Chester Goode or Maynard Krebs. That’s just a fact.

I was the outlier in our crew on these two.

Kirk would be #1 for me..,  Def some recency bias for Got, I can't complain about Steve Austin when Jack Bauer goes 1 slot higher

this was a tough judges roll...  oh well so it goes, lol

The Just-Missed-the-Top-Tier Tier aka The Second Tier

6 - Lou Grant (11 pts)

One of the judges pointed out how interesting the pivot was for Lou Grant from MTM to this series.  Well-developed character and solid cast around him.

56 Emmy nominations, with 13 wins

(Individual rankings - 11/11/10/10)

5 - L.A. Law (12 pts)

Emmy voters loved this one, as it is second only to Hill Street Blues in noms and wins.  Great ensemble cast.

89 Emmy nominations, with 15 wins

(Individual rankings - 13/12/12/8)
