If that review sounds appealing, you can take my kids. I'll be at the bar.I have a hard time picturing myself in that queue
I don't know if this is a spoiler but -Usual21 said:Watched this flick today. Great movie, not just for kids. The last act really pulls parents in and the comedy was really well done throughout the movie. Tons of cameos, but one was just AWESOME. Really surprised they got that one in. Son wants to see it again, and so do I.
I assume he's talking about Servo's spoiler. Only thing I could think of.I thought it was good. Not sure it is a must see. Adult humor was well done and I'm trying to figure out who the awesome cameo was
How old? My 7 year old loved it.Enjoyed it alot. My son not so much
When I told my 11 and 12 year old sons they were going to see it, you couldn't wipe the smile from their faces. How old? My 7 year old loved it.Enjoyed it alot. My son not so much

4.5. He loves legos but I think alot of the jokes went over his head and he really didnt understand the whole live action stuff. Also, he kept asking where Spiderman was lol (we play Lego Marvel together). How old? My 7 year old loved it.Enjoyed it alot. My son not so much

Agree, good flick. Seeing that after the Nut Job restored my faith in kid flicks. What cameo are your referring to?Usual21 said:Watched this flick today. Great movie, not just for kids. Girlfriend and I did the same thing and we both thought it was a really good movie that had a really fast pace with the perfect amount of time for specific scenes/moments.My wife and I don't have kids, and we enjoyed it. Saw a 9:30pm show and there wasn't a kid in the place. Good times.
star warsGreat movie, my 6 year old loved it and I really enjoyed it as well.![]()
can we get a OP check in on the AWESOME cameo??
Kids movies are doing this, with lots of adult jokes. I think of it as a way to keep the people paying interested. This movie has tons of both. I went on Friday with one of my boys (10) and we loved it. My 11 y.o. went yesterday and loved it too. We have some cheap tix for a theater and they jumped at the chance to go again so their mom and sister could see it.Will my girls (5.5 and 3.75 years old) be able to enjoy it / follow it?
I keep hearing how most of the jokes are for adults and will be over their heads.
they did a good job of not having that in the previewsstar warsGreat movie, my 6 year old loved it and I really enjoyed it as well.![]()

Absolutely.Batman was hilarious in this
Perhaps as soon as they get old enough to "get" movies and not cry all the time? As long as you're taking him to a "kid movie" then you're good. People can't really complain (although I'm sure they do) if there are kids in a showing of The Lego Movie. How young is too young to take a kid to a movie? I've been itching to take my 2.25 year old to something so I can eat an unhealthy amount of unhealthy popcorn.
For those who haven't seen it yet, be sure to stick around for the song a little bit into the credits.Absolutely.ETA: I only work in black, or very, very dark shades of gray.Batman was hilarious in this![]()
