You might. Mine involves both sight and smell. Don't care to relive it.Jesus, that's awful. I've never seen anything even close to that. I might win for worst thing I've ever smelled, but it can't touch your horror story.
My wife actually tops me. I actually started a thread on it when she called me. She was maybe 3 steps from being killed. A guy jumped the sidewalk with a van right in front of her. Crushed two women against a wall. She was inches from being hit, watched the guy climb out of the drivers side window since the door wouldn't open, and try to help one of the women but wound up ripping the top half of her body to the ground. Just sick.Sorry you've got that image, that's a tough one.
NY, of course.Wait so you saw someone decapitated and your wife saw someone's body sliced in half?
Where do you live?

You were close enough to smell it. That is horrific,You might. Mine involves both sight and smell. Don't care to relive it.Jesus, that's awful. I've never seen anything even close to that. I might win for worst thing I've ever smelled, but it can't touch your horror story.
Bike race about 5 years ago. Guy in front of me 50 yards hit some gravel and crossed the center line on a mountain descent. He was around a curve when I heard all hell break loose. Head went into the wheel well. As I went flying by taking stock of bottles and bike debris bouncing everywhere, the guy's blood was spewing from his neck like a fire hose. I rode to the next aid station to get help but knew the guy was dead within seconds after I went by. He was a 35 yo doctor at Wake Forest with two kids. I don't ride a 1/10th of the miles I used to and am that ##### in the back on descents. We were coming back from a camping trip upstate and these guys went flying past us on some motorcycles. Only a few seconds later all the break lights went on. Debri everywhere and I saw a guys head inside his helmet, by itself on the road.
As bad as the accident was above, I'll never forget passing by an accident scene on Thanksgiving morning and seeing some young girl standing by the car screaming that she killed her mom. I could see a human shape in the car. Sick to my stomach for several days thinking of the hell that girl was going though and how thanksgiving would always be a horrible day for her.Not nearly as bad, but I remember seeing a wrecked car where the drivers seat was essentially pancaked.
Seriously...* Note to self - don't read this thread while sitting down to eat dinner
I seen something very similar. Leaving a local bar, we are walking out to our car and we hear a crash. A bunch of us run towards the road and see a motorcycle that ran into the back of van, but can't see a person. We search the side of the roads and find nothing. Then someone spots a blood trail on the road, we follow it. He slid like a 1/4 mile down the road and is face down. We were all sure he was dead, but one guy got the courage to go roll him over to make sure. When he rolled him over not everything stayed inside. We were coming back from a camping trip upstate and these guys went flying past us on some motorcycles. Only a few seconds later all the break lights went on. Debri everywhere and I saw a guys head inside his helmet, by itself on the road.
Their new uniforms won't do them any favors. The Cleveland Browns.
Was he ok?Debri everywhere and I saw a guys head inside his helmet, by itself on the road.
what about the teeth barring mexican in the elevator? This thread won't last long...
Mine is 13-14 years ago in NYC. Was walking and heard sirens and cops on foot/bike running past me heading towards a church. I crossed the street to go check it out. At this point an ambulance and multiple cop cars have blocked things off, but I was able to get pretty close since it basically happened right next to me. I watched as paramedics wheeled out a guy that had blown his head off in the church. He was still alive and I don't think he made it, but to this day I can still remember the smell of blood and image of the chunk of meat that used to be a mans face.

As a kid that was pretty creepy. Used to rewind that part and watch it over and over, freeze-framing at times.Large Marge sent me.
How so? What an ignorant statement. One story involved a pot hole. How is that the riders fault?Early theme here: Irresponsible motorcyclists. Shocker.
But the other three were speeding, racing, speeding into the back of a van.How so? What an ignorant statement. One story involved a pot hole. How is that the riders fault?Early theme here: Irresponsible motorcyclists. Shocker.
And all the other ones were vehicles except for one bicycle. But the other three were speeding, racing, speeding into the back of a van.How so? What an ignorant statement. One story involved a pot hole. How is that the riders fault?Early theme here: Irresponsible motorcyclists. Shocker.
We don't know if they were speeding either. But the other three were speeding, racing, speeding into the back of a van.How so? What an ignorant statement. One story involved a pot hole. How is that the riders fault?Early theme here: Irresponsible motorcyclists. Shocker.

Something similar happened when I was a kid on the street I grew up on. Two motorcycles were flying down the street and came across a tractor trailer crossing the intersection. They hit the trailer part. It didn't end well for either of them.We were coming back from a camping trip upstate and these guys went flying past us on some motorcycles. The OP clearly stated the guy was speeding past him. The second one specifically said "bike race". The van...it's safe to assume if you slid a quarter mile down the road you were going too fast or you were not able to react to brake in time (aka distracted or tailgating). We don't know if they were speeding either. But the other three were speeding, racing, speeding into the back of a van.How so?
