...is the Dallas Cowboy defense.

He said that Sunday, before their dominance of NO.

Now NO may not be very good, but I think that by week four, the Dallas D will be generally recognized as one of the top three in the league.

Pass defense is the question a la Roy Williams getting burnt not once but twice by Santana in the 4th quarter.

perhaps i can pick them up after week three and not have to worry about a bye the rest of the season.

And here I thought it would have something to do with Brett Favre..........

Clearly an issue of ROy playing out of his position and away from his strenghts. Very good words so far this year on both Davis (last year's FS) and FSU Pat Watkins . IF one of these guys can own the FS position, Roy shouldn't have to ever be covering an opponent's best WR, but be up behind the LBs raising hell.

A Good NFL defense doesn't always translate into good fantasy defense. Last year Dallas ranked around the 25th best fantasy defense. 2005 - Tampa Bay ranked 1st NFL in defense and 9th in most fantasy leagues, Baltimore 4th (NFL) and 14 fantasy, Jacksonville 5th (NFL) and 10th fantasy, Green Bay 7th (NFL) and 27th fantasy, Ariz 8th NFL and 24th fantasy.

In 2004, the Colts ranked 29th defensively and 5th in most fantasy leagues. Washington ranked 3rd in the NFL and 19th fantasy, Dallas 16 NFL, and dead last fantasy, and Denver ranked 4th in the NFL and 24th fantasy.

I don't think every superlative uttered by talking heads that are desperate to fill air time is intended to be taken seriously.

It's not just Roy though. To be considered the best defense in the NFL the entire passing D needs to pick it up a notch.I have Dallas D ranked #4 this year and have been scooping them up in most leagues. Great talent and great coach.

He obviously didn't see the Giants D crush one of the best Offenses in the NFL ... KC.

I'd say that's a bit more impressive than beating New Orleans.

The Giants D could be absolutely scary for QBs this year
