How you might ask? I have had over 1600 points scored against me lol. 2nd highest in 1205. Some guys still in the 850-900 range. Also lots of those guys are having down years or at least down weeks at the wrong times haha.

Craziest FF season I have ever experienced and just wanted to share

2 games a week. One is your standard H2H matchup according the schedule (basically what you are already doing). The second game a week is against "league median scoring", so basically in a 12 team league the 6 teams with the highest points get a win, the 6 teams with the lowest points get a loss. It's now a mainstay in every league I play in except the FBG Shark Pool one I joined this year. And while there was crying, kicking, screaming trying to get it implemented in every league; it's now referred to as the most favorited change by everyone in all those leagues and something "I couldn't imagine ever playing without". Nothing will ever remove all the luck from fantasy, but an extra game a week against the median does wonders for mitigating terrible matchup luck like you're experiencing. And you'd still have those 7 losses on your record from the 9 games you played, but you'd likely have added 6-7 more wins as well due to that gross aberrations in PF/PA you're experiencing. You'd probably be sitting around .500.

Bring it up to the league now. Half will scoff at you and consider your bias bc of the current situation, but it will be in their minds. And next year, when it happens to a few of them, they will suddenly be all for it. By year 3, when it happens to more of them and they also cry "THIS IS BS!" then it will get voted through and you'll never look back. The only people I've ever heard against it are people who love luck over skill in fantasy. The people who still love waiver priority over FAAB, the people who determine playoff tie breakers by H2H matchups, the people who love winning a week because a kicker randomly scored 30 points, etc.

It's a built in setting on most major platforms so no extra work for anyone either.

I've come to despise the luck of h2h play in fantasy football to the point I wish it was eliminated, using other viable solutions, which I know is not a popular take.

I understand why it's generally necessary, especially in more smack talking local type of leagues. It just takes a game that already has a lot of luck involved and makes it even less skill and more luck based.

I play one local league ,as a ringer, that is strictly based on record but at least it's the dual situation were you play two teams at once. I doubt I'd ever pay for a league again which is straight record. Need stuff like a lot of the high stakes leagues which do a combo of points/record or the victory point format at least.

On that note I got a team entering this week at 0-8 in FFPC, which is a 12 week regular season, which I believe will finish this week 20-25 points from a playoff spot because the 4 playoff seeds are record, points, record, points. So very much alive and that's why I'd never want to play in a straight record format.

You need league to change playoff format to that team with most points,that doesn't get in via record gets in playoffs.

Luck of schedule shouldn't be the only way a team gets in.
Bc like I'm your case,a team that could win it all,and bad luck facing teams that go off every week is just super bad luck

I'm in same boat,but know I'll get in playoffs bc of my total points, no matter what my record is.

We transitioned to one of these because the commissioner had a really rough go of it one year. It's pretty good. We also have a small cash prize out of the pot to the top scorer of the week.

My main league has done that. 10 teams, 6 teams get in through record, then the highest scorer of the remaining 4 teams. We changed to only 1 team gets a bye, and 6 teams play in round 1.

I always thought if I wanted to make a league that I felt was most fair without giving up the fun of H2H and some surprise results.

12 teams, regular season is weeks 1-14. Each week you have a chance to win twice. One win for a H2H matchup and one for finishing above the median score for the week.

Playoffs are the 6 teams with the best record. The teams with the 1st, 4th and 5th best records go into 1 group. The teams with the 2nd, 3rd and 6th best reords into another. The team with the 1st best record and 2nd best record each get +10 points for their team going into the playoff group round. After 2 weeks, the team from each group with the most points advance to the finals. Week 17 H2H for the title.

When the buy ins are a decent size, I love spreading the money around to side pots like that. My $400 buy in league pays out weekly high points too. High points ~5 weeks pretty much gets your buy in back.

QB - Mahomes/Prescott
RB - Judkins, Pacheco, Warren, Henderson
WR - Malik (IR), Nacua (been hurt), BTJ (fallen off a cliff), Waddle (coming on), McCaffrey (non existent and now hurt), Mack Hollins (hit or miss)
TE - Juwan Johnson, Kelce

Warren and Judkins have been huge for me. But damn the luck with my WRs! I had high hopes for my rookie RBs but only Judkins is worth starting. Henderson being in the dog house and forgetting what got him drafted is mind boggling!

4-5 now, last night went to sleep with a loss by .05 pts, woke up winning by .04. We'll see if that holds.
Herbert, Saquon, Breece, Bucky, Cook, Puca, Addison and could be 3-6 if stats change again. TE has been a mess, IDK if Loveland will do anything going forward, but guess I play him now and hope.
I really dont know what happened.
