This is not so much a solicitation as it is the start of a Movement.
We will together create the most perfect league anyone has ever heard of. We will play redraft and we will play head to head and we will not reinvent the wheel, but we sure as hell will ensure the best teams who worked hard and earned their fortunes will be thusly rewarded. We will discuss good leagues we've experienced, bad leagues, shady owners, and search for a league with specific and detailed rules which will be enforced fairly.
You will entrust your Commissioner, McGarnicle, who will Enforce the Rules, Fairly and with 100% Transparency.
Your Commissioner will ensure that all 12 league-mates are serious, committed players who have paid their dues into a secure, third party account prior to the draft. He may talk Smack, and have strong opinions, but your enjoyment of the league will be his top priority at all times, and the rules will be enforced to ensure serious play until the end.
I'm a little bored with my local league and I'm annoyed by some shady commissioners and just shady play in general. I would like to start a new thing here that is kind of different, more thoughtful and cerebral while being really fun and accessible. I'd like some FBGs to serve as founder members who can add their expertise as well. I'm seeing big things here and hope to attract 11 others who have the same vision. I have strong opinions about format and starting wagers etc. but my intention is to start sort of a conclave of guys who will hammer out a template, then we draft a constitution, then recruit owners. Only thing I'm firm about is a $150.00 league fee.
