I'll kick it off..

Ben Jarvis Green Ellis NE Patriots RB

He may not make the final 53 (though I think he will), but this kid has played his guts out this Preseason. Good burst, hits the hole hard, catches the ball well out of the backfield, and has really impressed me with his pass protection skills.

ETA- The point of this thread is to highlight some guys who are not a lock to make the final 53, but performed above and beyond.

I didn't watch many preseason games, and I know Atlanta's D isn't the best, but Phillip Rivers and the Chargers passing offense looked amazing in the first half at Atlanta a week ago. Receivers were getting open at will and Rivers was lighting them up.

He moved ahead of Warner for me, and closer to Aaron Rodgers.

:banned: That's sort of the point of the thread.

Give some props to guys who made the most of their reps.

Louis Rankin, whom I'm fond of since he was a local star at Washington. 14-94-2 rush, 5-47 rec. Way to make the most of limited reps!

Hakeem Nicks

Phil Rivers

A. Rodgers

Chris Henry

Bernard Scott

Mark Sanchez

Matt Ryan

Ahmad Bradshaw

Jay Cutler

E. Bennett

Dvais - Cle

Forsett - Sea

Nicks - NYG

VY - Tenn

Goodson - Car

D Brown - Indy

Clowny - NYJ

Leinert - Ari

Sinorice Moss. Two TDs yesterday. Might have saved his job...
and might have made an even bigger mess of the NYG WR situation
Eh.Hixon, Smith, Nicks, Manningham, Barden are locks.Tyree is probably gone.So it's Moss vs. Hagen for the (possible) 6th WR spot and a likely game day inactive. Moss had a game last night but Hagen has had a better camp and is a better special teams contributor. I don't see either of them high enough on the depth chart to make a difference but with this WR corps, you just don't know.

Kevin Ogletree, Dallas

Kid has probably earned a job with Stanback not being abnle to stay on the pratice field, much less the playing field.
