im just wondering who is this years matt ryan eddie royal chris johnson was lucky enough to draft johnson and royal in last years dynasty draft my initial thought are freeman harvin and mcoy

not sure what you are asking punctuation does wonders for reading comprehension I assume you want a surprise rookie maybe johnny knox fits the bill or bernard scott you never know

If you're looking for a huge sleeper, Bengals rookie RB Bernard Scott is your man! The stud college rusher ran for 2,165 yards and 39 touchdowns in college last year and had 1,892 yards and 27 touchdowns during his junior season. The guy is a big-time player and can throw down game breaking performances at any given time. He had 292 yards rushing and 7TDs in Abilene Christian's '08 playoff win over West Texas A&M.

All that stands between him and the starting gig in Cinn, is Benson, and thats not much.

You think he'll be able to help in the running game right away? Not really concerned about stats, but if the Bengals are going to have a running game that opposing defenses actually have to play against, it's going to have to come somewhere other than Benson. I know nothing about the kid but seeing what league he played in you have to be a little worried about the huge increase in the level of competition.

freeman harvin and mccoy hmm im not sure about them im thinking the qb is going to be either stafford or sanchez with most liking sanchez but i like stafford as far as backs go if you are looking for a sleeper look scott cincy or jennings from jax and after the high pick wrs you might take a chance on dillard jax as a sleeper wr but as studs goes im a nicks guy but youll see crabtree maclin guys and maybee robiskie

you kids are terrible stop poking fun at him what would your mother think of you for acting that way

My choices for '09 rookie breakout seasons include (not in any particular order):

Robiskie

Scott

Harvin

Nicks

I also like McCoy, but I'm not sold that Westy will crumble like a potato chip. I believe Reid will find ways to get McCoy involved in many games, but not as a feature back.

I could be wrong :lmao:

Immediate impact doesn't always mean the most long-term value. That said, I think these guys hit the ground running:

Sanchez

Moreno, D Brown

Robiskie

Moreno has the best chance to go for Slaton/CJ3-like Pro-Bowl stats, but I wouldn't hold my breath on that.

+1 on that.QB - Don't forget that Matt Ryan had Roddy White to throw to last year. Without an elite WR, I don't see Sanchez being relevant this year. Stafford could be with Megatron, but the Lions may start Culpepper for part or all of the season.

RB: Moreno and Wells should both get the chance to start so both could make an immediate impact. Donald Brown could also make more of an impact then some think.

James Davis is in a "good" situation, but I'm not sure he has the talent to take advantage of it. If Jamal Lewis sucks it up, Jerome Harrison is probably just as likely to get the bulk of the carries as Davis. In short, Davis is fools gold, especially in dynasty leagues.

Bernard Scott went late in the draft to the Bengals because of his five arrests and because he didn't play division one football. He only really has Cedric Benson to beat out for the #1 RB as Brian Leonard is more of a fullback. Probably worth a late round draft in redrafts and a 2nd round pick in dynasty rookie drafts.

Shonn Greene - Thomas Jones is 31 and could breakdown. If he does, Greene will probably get a shot to be the Jets #1 RB. Didn't have a good combine, but is worth a late round pick in redrafts.

WR: Robiskie from what I've read is the most polished of the receivers taken in the 1st and 2nd round. I think he has a good chance to put up #3 fantasy WR stats. Doesn't have a ton of long term upside though.

Maybe for Nicks and Harvin.

For WR's I would say Nicks, Harvin, Robiskie, possibly Mike Thomas or Jarret Dillard depending on camp injuries

RB's - Very high on Donald Brown, Cardinals have an easy schedule but I'm not willing to commit to Beanie Wells at his current ADP

QB's - Sanchez would have to play out of his mind to have a Matt Ryan rookie season, Stafford and Freeman are a wait and see
