Call your shot. Given a spectrum of success/failure represented by these other QBs who were taken first over all, where do you see JaMarcus Russell's career ending up or resembling? It doesn't have to be exactly like, just comparative in terms of success (which is of course subjective - personal, team etc. - but you can use the above QBs as reference points).

Jamarcus can take a licking and keep on ticking much better than Carr though. He bounces off deflective hits. I realize he will be hit harder in the NFL than the SEC, but he is big and strong.

i think he will start out like David Carr and end up like Drew Bledsoe. With that line in Oakland, there is no way that he puts up decent numbers...not to mention the weak core of Wr's he has in Oakland.

Very possible. Plunk was a great prospect, got himself almost killed by an incompetemt coach, moved on, and salvaged a good career,Hope not, but Kiffin is an unknown.
