The Real Official wildcard game 2 *** Steeler Vs Bengals *** (2 Viewers)

Enjoy your patty-cake flag "football" kids.
Why would anyone think that hit by Burfict should be legal?

Just dumb to even think that should be allowed.
I guess we were just all ####in insane for almost 100 years.
We were...when we didn't understand head injuries and their impact and former players all with CTE and dying younger than they should.

Add in multi million $$ lawsuits...and of course the NFL is not going to want to allow that.

Watch UFC if you want more violence.
I want to watch football. I don't enjoy grappling. I enjoy teams of people fighting to move the ball down the field. Not this offense fest where the defense is expected to just let a player go over the middle of the field and not hurt them. #### our stupid legal system that reduces all of us to the lowest common demonminaator and doesn't allow anyone to take any risks. Again, enjoy the patty-cake flag "football" and your superior morality for protecting players from themselves.

15 yard penalty because Antonio Brown took a page out of Wheaton's book and lowered his head into a defender

and then another 15 because the refs may have left Boswell just a little out of range
has to be :fishing:

:lmao: you're a ducking moron. Hits like that are the reason the nfl could lose billions. Not their fault Burfict wants to take cheap shots.

The only problem with this is Shaziers hit on Hill is legal.
I agree...as I said earlier...should show that as how not to tackle.

Dangerous for Shazier as much as it was for Gio.

Could have ended his own career hitting like that.

Disgraceful performance by the Bengals down the stretch. That hit on Brown was one of the dirtiest I have ever seen. Throw that thug out of the league.

If Pitt makes those penalties, there wouldn't be a flag and everyone would say just let the players decide at the end of the game. Cincy gets two personal fouls, and the reception is the opposite.

Love how Burfict is a thug but Shazier is Man of the year. #### all of you.
I think Shazier gets fined, but he was tackling a runner in a a live game play. There is no penalty for helmet to helmet on a runner. His sideline actions clearly show he is a thug and a doosh, but it was legal. Burfict took Brown's head off after the play was done, clearly incomplete and that is a personal foul on a defenseless receiver. Hence the penalty. Both were correct calls by the refs, pure and simple.

Still have no clue what Jones did to get a penalty
You missed the replay. Literally grabbed Porter by the shirt and shoved him.
so??? Porter shouldn't have even been on the field. He's not a trainer, not an offensive coach, he wasn't around Brown, he was in the middle of group of Bengals running his mouth. People get literally grabbed by the shirt and shoved all the time during a football game...people who are supposed to be on the field.

the officials gave pitt this one
No they didn't. I hate Pittsburgh and like AJ Green, loved the offense taking the game. Burfict being his classless self lost the game, pure and simple. The refs made calls they are supposed to make. Clearly incomplete to Brown and Burfict knew it. He head hunted trying to take out Brown and his pee sized brain didn't even think of the impact of his action putting Pittsburgh into FG range and then Pacman becomes Pacman.
The Burfict penalty was legit I think the penalty on Pac Man was BS especially with Porter out there running his mouth.

I watched replay over and over. Still can't see where the second personal foul was.
They showed one angle where there was some jawing and Jones came flying in from the side and bumped into the group of refs. The ref who got hit from behind threw the flag.

"22 seconds left and they need about 14 yards to get into FG range. Going to be tough for Pitt with no TOs."

2 15 yard personal fouls on the next play. Problem solved.

Yep. Bernard wasn't defenseless, Brown was. End of the story per the current NFL rules.

And what is the risk of Ben taking a snap, moving to wherever and taking a knee...then spiking to take the clock down to almost nothing?

Why leave time on the clock?
A false start on the spike would be a 10 second runoff and end the game.

Rough game, but how does a head coach not at least attempt to get his players out of harms way. Every single coach should be off that sideline and pulling players back away from temptation.

Idk. I feel like the Brown hit wasn't as bad as people think. It did seem like an attempt at the ball in real time, but with Burficts history and anytime you make such solid contact with the head, you won't get any benefit of the doubt.
