Going to see this in a few hours to complete my pre-Golden Globe viewing tour.

Really good movie. There are some slow points. Pretty much every time there is no dialogue. It felt like the movie just dragged when Leo was crawling around after being injured. I would recommend watching at home & fast forwarding through all the scenes without dialogue.

That poor guy got the s*** kicked out of him the entire film.

The CGI of the bear attack was done very well. As unrealistic as it was, they made it seem very real.

I watched this around the same time as I saw Hateful 8. The one common theme that jumps out during this time period is the lack of trust. You couldn't turn yoir back on anyone back then.

The feel good movie of the winter.

Saw this on Friday night and loved it. It is a great revenge/survival/western with breathtaking cinematography, fantastic acting from Leo and Tom Hardy.

A slow burn but well worth the effort.

4/5 stars.
