The Seattle RB Situation (1 Viewer)

The Seahawks had all sorts of problems today and much of that was due to Buffalo's aggressive defense. So it's no surprise Morris and Jones didn't get much done. Morris got the start today but looked bad except for two nice runs. Jones saw a lot of action in the second half and didn't look much better although he was more involved in the passing game. Given how bad Morris looked, I wouldn't be surprised if Jones got the start next week.

Jones played more in the second half because of Morris' knee injury. And Buffalo played a more prevent-type D later on because the game was in hand. Both RBs and the offense as a whole were bad. Jones may start next week, but it sure isn't because he looked better than MoMo.

I agree. I think both looked bad. My guess about Jones starting was mainly because Morris looked awful so Holmgren may try Jones to see what he can do. Of course, the Bills' D had a lot to do with why the Seahawks looked so bad. Even without Crowell, that's a very good defense in Buffalo.

This whole offense looked abysmal. Taylor/Kent were atrocious -- qutting on the majority of their routes. I figured Taylor might be worth a look [because Hass has made about every WR he's been with looked serviceable]. but this guy is lucky to be on the gameday roster with the effort he displayed.

I dropped Hass to a low level QB2 until Branch/Engram get back. He needs someone consistent at flanker.

As far as the RB's, I wouldn't feel comfortable starting either outside bye week fill ins with the current state of this offense.
