As some may be able to tell by my screen name I like sumo. I also like football. So I am trying to create a league that loosely (key word there) follows sumo. This will be a pyramid league, because that is what sumo is. Anyway I would like 36 owners to start this off...we will be forming 3 seperate games. Here is how the pay structure will work.
Year 1 -- buy in $20--- for this year all 3 leagues will pay out the same.
1st-- $100
2nd ---$70
3rd ---$50
4th ---$20
Year 2 --- buy in $20 --- The top 4, middle 4, and bottom 4 in each league will then combine..payments are listed from top league to bottom league.
1st -- $120, $100, $80
2nd --$80,$70, $60
3rd -- $60,$50,$40
4th ---$40, $20, 0
Year 3 --- buy in $25
1st through 4th place will pay out as in year 2, however we now have an extra $180 to play with...at this point the champion of the top league has earned it and one should be rewarded for beating him. (this is kind of like when a Yokozuna gets beat in sumo). $110 goes to the current champ, however if you beat him he has to give $10 to you. At the end of 11 weeks...he keeps what remains.
The other 70 is gonna go to the top pt scorer in each division (this is like the special prizes for sumo)
top division --$30
middle division-- $25
bottom division --- $15
Anyway that is what I am proposing...as for the league setup itself it will be PPR, there will not be anything crazy as far as lineups and scoring goes.
