OFFICIAL SCALE EDIT ALERT!

It's minor, but important IMO. Because a "5" seems to be such an important barometer, want to eliminate any possible confusions.

Focus group results are showing the word "Average" can be taken in different context (average to the entire female populuation vs. average compared to the women in your area/social circle vs. the average between 1 and 10 on the scale definitions). With this, moving forward, the scale will remove the word "Average" and officially state...

5: Starting to be unattractive, but certain qualities work in her favor. Nothing major, but minor problems are more common

Please update Wiki Page and original post of thread appropriately. Thank you for your time.

HINT: 5 is average on a 1 to 10 scale, whether you call it that or not.Also, I think you've lost any remaining credibility you had in the past couple days by giving out the half point ratings.

The scale has no credibility at all. "10 is the Mensa of hotness"--2% of people qualify for Mensa. It's really not exclusive at all and far less than 2% of the ratings are 10.

The scale sucks.

1st link - 7, 6 I have a feeling that's not a great pic of #2, but have to base my rating on the pic presented. #1 could be an 8, but she has a boxer's nose.

2nd link - Going 5 across the board. Not a fan.

3rd link - horrible pic, but I'll go 6.5 and 8.

4th link - 8, 8

FYI, the girl on the right in the 2nd link is also on the right in the 3rd link. And she's a lot closer to an 8 than to a 5. Pretty girl imo.

I'd give her an 8 but wouldn't say "no way" someone else could rate her a point or half a point lower. Especially with some of the tough grading in here. Might help (or hurt) if she was smiling.

Well, for starters, her eyes are spectacular. Large, dark and symmetrical. She also has great hair and a very cute mouth. Her lack of curves is what keeps her out of 9/10 territory, but she is a solid 8.

Too confusing for me... IMO the best is the blonde in the front in the red top - 7.5 could be an 8 if we get to see the rest of her assets. The worst is the man all the way to the right dressed in brown, he gets a 3.
