Two Leagues Announce 2010 Fantasty Draft Dates

The PFFL Champions (2008, 2009) want YOU in San Diego this August!

The Dynasty Elite and Premier Fantasy Football leagues have announced their 2010 draft dates.

The Premier Fantasy Football League (PFFL) has announced the weekend of Friday August 6 to Sunday August 8 as their draft weekend. In keeping with tradition owners will be travelling from the four corners of the country (Washington State, New Jersey, Texas, and uh San Diego) to San Diego, California, to hold their draft at Junior Seau’s (The Restaurant) on Saturday (all day) and possibly take in a nice dinner, Padre’s, or Charger’s game the evening before. In previous year’s, the PFFL has travelled to such locale’s as Austin, TX, San Antonio TX, and New Orleans LA. San Diego will be their farthest jaunt to date in the league’s 15 year history. San Diego narrowly beat out Las Vegas in this year’s voting despite heavy lobbying for a Hall of Fame weekend draft in Canton, Ohio. Also of note, this will be the first year that an owner will represent and draft internationally from Thailand. It is also rumored that Gandalf the Great and the guys from Night at the Roxbury will make surprise guest appearances. An open invitation stands for any friends / man-servants of active owners and followers of FootballSwami.com.

The Dynasty Elite Rookie Draft will be held, on schedule, the second week of July, beginning Monday July 12 at approximately 8 A.M. The draft will be on-line and teams are allowed 4 hours to make their picks. Five rounds are scheduled and all twelve teams will be participating. The draft is estimated to last five to eight days. For the Dynasty Elite’rs it has been a very active season. The pace of off-season signings has slowed drastically in the past weeks indicating that team’s for the most part are satisfied with their veteran players for the 2010 season. It will be interesting to follow the new and developing rivalry between the crude, lude, Devil Dogs versus the vile, devious, plotting of bin Holey as the season commences. Also of note many predictions of a worst to first scenario for the Wolverines.

Both leagues are public leagues to join and watch. Feel free to register on the site anytime to watch as the action unfolds!

As always, to all active owners and participants, PLEASE KEEP THE REFERRALS COMING! Referrals are the life blood of the site and we incent those who refer!

It has actually been rumored that HUGO CHAVEZ may have actually sealed a deal with two new members of FootballSwami.com to get the 10 teams that he needs to start his new Dynasty style Fantasy Leauge! The target is 12 teams so if you are interested please contact The Swami, Kirk Gomez (kirkgomez@gmail.com), or David Robertson (zerkdave@gmail.com) for more information. Get in on the action while you can! Dynasty Leagues are the hottest thing on the site and hard to get into so your opportunity is NOW!

This year a new pricing model is in effect. One year subscriptions will be $25 per person, which is a change from $20 per team in previous years. Bottom line, for those of you that play in multiple leagues you are being heavily discounted. Those that play in only one league will see a $5 increase. With this change less revenue will be coming into the company. However, with the number of referrals that we get year after year, and the increased amount of donations that we have begun to receive, we feel that this price adjustment can work and is in YOUR benefit!

Many thanks to all of those who have come back year after year. FootballSwami.com is very excited to commence our 15th year of operation and we know that you will enjoy the many new additions and revisions to the site in the upcoming year.

I just thought I would throw this out to the world again without all the pomp and circumstance. This web site is developed to not be blocked by workplaces. Go ahead try logging on from work and see if it works for you. Also, the best things about this site that cannot be duplicated by espn, and other such generic sports web sites. We've got friendly wagers among friends, we've got no censorship, we've got public ripping of your opponents, we've got in-game blogging for every game going on in the league. Everything about this site is easy...trades, signings...you name it. You should at least check it out...it's free and fully customizable.

Cheers!
