Yeah we watched with the dubbing and it wasn’t bad at all.
I hate subtitles, as I feel I can't actually watch whats going on. I'm looking at words at the bottom of the screen.
Never heard of news radio. 30 Rock was fine. Talk about middling. It relied so much on caricature and slapstick...not something I'll ever rewatch. Not much character development either. More like Two and a Half Men than BBT.

Assumption: Instinctive is stating that the reason (see 2nd quote above) the Bing Bang Theory is one of the five most profitable shows of all time is because it is prestige TV (given "it's got character arcs and development on par with some of the best dramas and prestige TV").

Eventually you get used to it and it's easier to understand - but yes that is one issue it has.
Yeah, wasn't a big fan of the last season, but was indeed great overall. Favorite character was Alfie Solomons.

I did a rewatch of the complete series last month after submitting my ballot and probably ranked it too low. Benedict Cumberbatch's flamboyant portrayal of Holmes grabs the attention at first but I thought Martin Freeman's Watson made it work as the heart and soul of the show.

Absolutely loved this show all the way until the end. I heard they are making a follow up movie? Hope that's true. Slow grind at times, but had some of the best television I have seen. Tom Hardy as Alfie was incredible. Luca was solid. Arthur? Hell ya Arthur. Polly. Etc. Etc. Solid characters. My type of gangster storylne. Violence. Drugs. Sex. Just a great show and in my personal top ten shows of all time.
I'm honestly surprised it doesn't appear on more lists. 1 of 3 British shows on my list(The IT Crowd is sitting at #240). One more to come, and I'm guessing it will be on at least 15 lists.
I've never liked pickles. Now, in relish form on a burger? I'm down. I hope he also has relish.
Cleese and his daughter are working on a reboot with the two of them managing a hotel in the Carribean. Still in the writing stage. John is already 85 . . . they better hurry up.

I watched this series long after it was complete. Never heard of it. Never heard of Rami Malek. It sucked me in super hard. Was just so different then what I had previously watched before. The performance Rami gave was just astounding. I watched everything I could with him in it afterwards. A short 4 seasons long that didn't feel like it had alot of wasted filler episodes.
