It's the start. Those are real.

First 25 out will be next, then tomorrow start from 300.

Most of mine I would imagine are the animated kids shows that I had on my list. A top 30 one I think my wife and I looked forward to more than our daughter.

I think I had 8 animated with 4 being children and 4 adult.
I have 2 animated shows meant for adults and 3 kids shows that weren’t animated (I guess one could be considered a family show). No animated kids shows on my top 70.

Craig Ferguson is really funny. I didn't watch it - but all the YouTube clips I saw were very funny.

Craig's show was a breath of fresh air In an era where TV talk shows have regressed into pure promotion for the guests' current projects and awkwardly staged bits designed in hope of going viral. Ferguson is funny as hell but he also took (or feigned) enough interest in his guests to hold meaningful conversations with them.

I didn’t get a chance to read the thread much early in. My approach was to factor in my favorites but also the amount of time watching it. There’s a couple of animated shows I just watched a ton and felt they were worthy of a spot.

And then some of my favorite shows as an adult have been animated.

Knew my #2, Big Train, would be the one to miss out.
It’s hilarious. British humor in the tradition of Monty Python

Instead of the top 25, let's finish the honorable mentions with everyone's top ranked show that did not make the top 300. There will obviously be overlap with the previous top 5 list.

Tables arent posting properly so this may look a bit janky.

Never really watched it except for Donna Mills, but Knots Landing had a good, very ‘80s theme song:

@simey Did Donna Mills join the cast later?
Mills joined the show at the beginning of season 2, which was in 1980. She was a great villain. I ranked it #4, because it was my favorite prime time soap. It was on during my high school and college years. I think it was on for like 14 seasons or so, and there were a ton of episodes back then, and I watched all of them. It deserved the high ranking. As for the theme song, they changed the speed of it throughout the years, and I think my favorite of the themes started in season 5. It would fit on Shuke's MAD theme.

My top ranked show missing the cut is Jersey Shore. This is a real guilty pleasure show for me and the only real reality show on my list. Watching drunk people fight, shout, and hurt themselves like this group does is incredibly entertaining.

😍

Assume this includes Son of Svengoolie? This is an awesome pick. Two thumbs up!!

Or maybe the bottom of the homogenous lists list are the folks who our fellow FBGs will thank for introducing them to myriad new shows to binge with gratitude
or I just have bad taste.

on a more serious note, there are a ton of shows that I know will be on that that I have not watched and thus did not list. I don't have a ton of "nostalgia" picks but age likely plays a bit of a factor, I think most of you were tweens and teens in the 80's while I was not. Anyways looking forward to seeing my 16% of shows represented!

shout to Eephus, steelerfan1 and Shaft41 for joining me in such elite company.
We've discussed the chalk shows so many times, for me it's the non-chalk stuff that's the most interesting to cover at this point. I'd definitely like to see posts on the ones that were in personal top 20's that don't make the combined top 200.
I have Black Summer at 10, there's no way it's in the top 200. It only got 2 seasons and it's a stupid zombie show, but it sucked me in so hard - the first episode (Human Flow) is what I always wanted from a zombie movie/show, shellshocked people and just utter mayhem where it really felt like the cameraman was just trying to capture as much as he could, and everything we couldn't see was just as interesting and crazy as everything we could see... like the camera could have been turned 90 degrees and found an entirely different show of wild events. Showing things from so many views fed that. It pretty much maintained that pace for the 2 seasons it got.

I really liked black summer. Was sad to see it end.

Thanks for that. Those last two especially had me going.

I had Good Times on my list as well, but not ranked very high. I probably should have included the OC as I was super infatuated over Rachel Bilson. I had Emergency on the list but got knocked down to around 90.

None of you old farts threw Looney Tunes a bone?
Is there even a show on IMDB with that name?

It's probably Toons. It was on a few lists and they all came in differently spelled so when I changed them all to be consistent I may have used the wrong name.

It’s tunes but I guess there’s so many damn iterations of those shows I should have been more specific. I guess I figured all the Bugs Bunny stuff would be lumped together

I watched 2 seasons of this in one binge - I was in the hospital with MRSA in the week between Christmas and New Year's. The hospital wifi went out and their IT people were on vacation, so all I had was the hospital TV. I watched every bowl game and Jersey Shore while fighting a heavy fever. This was just before their third season came out.

I never watched another episode.
