Or when Maxine Waters called for violence against members of Trump's cabinet?

I guess it did have the word “violence” in the tweet. Good work.True, it was a disgruntled man (edited: not a former employee). And I am in no way laying blame at the feet of the President. But don't you think it is possible that his rhetoric emboldened this disgruntled employee, possibly playing a role in his decision to escalate his response to killing? It's akin to the Russian meddling in the election when folks can rightly say (I believe it is right) that no ballots were changed by the interference. OK, sure, but there is no way to quantify the effect their meddling had to inspire God knows how many people to swing their vote. We will never know, just like we will never know (unless the killer explicitly tells us) if Trump's words had an effect in his decision to open fire.

Hmmm, somehow I ended up on the Trump/Pence mailing list. It seems he is now running a sweepstakes to win a trip to a Trump Victory Dinner (airfare, hotel stay and dinner for 2) to attend meet Trump at dinner and have a picture taken with him. Of course, you're supposed to donate to his re-election fund to enter, but in order to keep it legal, the small print says you can enter without a donation by texting "DINNER" to 88022 and 80810. I'm seriously pondering how great it would be if all non-Trump people around the country entered by texting skewing the odds of winning in favor of one of them. (Of course, that assumes that any contest associated with Trump would actually pick a winner at random)
