Anyone else have those people that go into the season without a thought of trading because they feel they are set. Then those same people start off poorly and are just content to go down with the ship instead of trading or even picking up players. It's very frustrating to watch and tough to deal with as even the weekly payouts and Toilet Bowl (first pick of next year) aren't enough to keep them interested. Obviously a league is at it's best when all members are active and are actively trying to better there team. Any other suggestions besides getting new members?

I wish owners would go down with the ship more often. Fold up shop. Don't trade your stud to contenders for their backups just to help you go 5-8 instead of 3-9.

One of the simplest ways to keep owners interested is to have substantial weekly prizes through Week 17. There is no one guaranteed way to keep owners interested, but giving them a chance to win their money back for the longest possible time is one of the better approaches.
