What a ticky-tack complaint to make about an event as big as the Super Bowl.Suprisingly it's not all the articles or threads about the officiating, its actually the phrase "ticky-tack". That is all.
Yeah, but there's definitley going to be some overage charges considering how much it's been used this week. That phrase was around before this Superbowl...
Considering what the weather mid-January in Detroit usually is (below 0, knee-deep snow), you should be thrilled with low '20's and snow flurries. It's a bummer the mid-30's didn't hold all weekend, but we really got lucky.-On Saturday night the weather sucked. On Friday there was half nude women, half drunk, looking for half a beer and a whole lot o fun. Saturday we saw all the ladies bulked up for the weather and had to retreat inside to see some of the great Super Bowl wildlife. That sucked.
Aretha saved the anthem but the halftime show was not good. All the lights and those dancing freaks made it palatable anyway. I like lights....National Anthem or Stones haltime show....take your pick. :X
That is a pretty good list-Worse things from SB XL than the words "ticky tack":
Joey Porter's mouth.
Joey Porter's performance
Jerramy Steven's performance
The disappointing commercials
The Rolling Stones (in general)
Mick Jagger's belly shirt (to be specific)
Mick Jagger's belly-aching about the censorship that he agreed to beforehand
The referees' performance
Aaron Neville's performance (and the prison tat on his cheek)
Aretha Franklin's belief that an invitation to sing the National Anthem is actually an invitation to grandstand
Ben Roethlisberger's performance
Matt Hasselbeck's INT
Josh Brown's performance
Tom Roen's performance
Holmgren's clock mamagement
I'm sick just thinking about this stuff. Good list though.Worse things from SB XL than the words "ticky tack":

This is what people in Russia call good luck. It's a bummer the mid-30's didn't hold all weekend, but we really got lucky.

If the Giants' running game was involved in a close call, would we call it Tiki-tack?
It's all about the wind chill, man. Don't see anything about that in your fancy chart.Sorry for the ticky-tack correction here, but the coldest average high in Detroit occurs on Jan 17-22 and is 32 degrees. http://www.weather.com/activities/homeandg...29&climoMonth=1Considering what the weather mid-January in Detroit usually is (below 0, knee-deep snow), you should be thrilled with low '20's and snow flurries.
