There Is A Special Corner In Hell Reserved For All Closers (1 Viewer)

Al Reyes :football:

I either spent $1 on him or took him in the last round of every draft I was in. Rolling in the profits.

I play in a head to head points league.

I have BJ Ryan on the DL

My 2 closers yesterday

Valverde- 0.1 inning 4 ER a loss AND a Blowns save, for -11.33 ptrs

Jason Frasor- 0.2 innings 1ER and the loss for - 5.2 pts w/ a total on the week for -7.67 (2 negative outings this week)

My 2 closers so far this week -19

We had a guy in my H2H league drop Mariano Rivera....I got him on waivers. I had BJ Ryan, put him on DL, picked up Frasor, then dropped him today. I have Bret Myers.

And it's only May 4th!

:lmao: It happens. He's been tremendous value up until last night.

Right now I have the #2, #8, #10 and #11 RPs in my league. :lmao:

Reyes, Valverde, Jenks and Soria. I took Jenks in round 9, Valverde in 15 and Reyes and Sorio off of the WW.

There is ALWAYS one or two closers that you can nab in the first week or so that turn into a stud. Every single year it happens.

My league is actually very lite when it comes to RP. There's only one starter at the position so most teams only roster one closer, sometimes two. So it's easy to pick up someone of value, its just a matter of picking up the right guy.I gave up Hoffman last week because he is getting pounded. Even the outs he's getting seem to be well hit and I think he might be at the end of the line. So after Hoffman got me -5.33 last week. I'm looking at Valverde, who I picked up to replace Hoffman with, at -7.33 right now. :hot:

Well, Reyes is the next closer to implode.

I apologize in advance to everyone that has enjoyed his success so far.

The roto gods giveth and taketh away. Looks like I'll soon get saves from either Betancourt or Cabrera but then Chris Ray meltsdown.

I hate closers.

It seems that I was the demise of Al Reyes who I dropped before last week for.....................(drumroll please)....................... Brian Fuentes.

Next up, Carlos Marmol.
