1. What role will a healthy Cotchery play opposite BEdwards?

2. Can Moreno bring it? Today vs Was, IMO, is his last chance for fantasy relevance.

3. Who is better - NE or IND?

4. Who is better - PIT or CIN?

5. Can Carolina get back some self-respect? A loss @ home vs Atlanta will probably the the end of Delhomme and maybe Fox.

please add to the list. IMO there is more NFL drama on tap today than there has been in quite some time....exciting time to be a football fan.

I think this is a huge game for the cardinals. Blown out at home versus the panthers then they blow out the bears on the road. Warner bounced back from five int to chuck five td. What zona team shows up today at home vs the Seahawks? The cards have a solid run d but have been susceptible to the pass. if they can limit the Seahawks today through the air and Warner protects the ball they should be able to win with ease and perhaps build on their ground game as well. They need to be more consistent to prove they're a legit contender. Today is a big test.

MJD doesnt travel well, to the northeast in the winter. He will have less than 5 fantasy points today.
MJD Career:Home: 321 - 1435 (4.5) 24 TDRoad: 354 - 1835 (5.2) 21 TDIn 2009, on the road he's averaging over 6 yards per carry with 6 rushing TDs.So, it's not winter AND he does travel well.Try again.

Just to expand on this thought - we will learn alot about the Broncos today. During McDaniels' time in NE, he rarely (if ever) went through a 3-game losing streak. Let's see their meddle.

That everyone has been panicking about Calvin Johnson for no reason.
Hope you are right
I actually benched Calvin for Boldin. My thoughts are that Jared Allen and the Viking D-Line is going to be in Stafford's face all game long, and especially in the garbage time when the Vikes are well ahead. Saying that, he will probably have have a huge game, on my bench.

1. How soon can Kenny Britt take over as a starter - good game today and it might be hard to send him back to the bench

2. Mike Sims-Walker v Darrelle Revis - we'll learn a lot about how good MSW really is

3. Is the Steelers running game for real against a tough Cincy D

4. Will Mangini give Harrison the chance to be the starter that he earned earlier this year

5. Can Chaz Schilens help salvage something out of the putrid Oakland passing offense

6. Can Denver answer the bell after being pushed around in each of the last two weeks

Will try to get some NFC ?s up

Even if he gets shut-down, it will not change my opinion much. He has Garrard throwing the ball to him, on the road, where he is particularly bad, against the Jets, who shut-down Randy Moss and need a win bad. I benched him, but I still think he will be an excellent receiver in the future, regardless of what he does today. Thanks again Couch Potato!

(3) Seems that this is a really good game to see what Mendenhall is made of; will his stats stand up in a physical game; will he shut up the nay-sayers? It will actually be pretty cool to see if he answers the bell as Benson once did. Will the two bulls look each other in the eye answer ###-for-tat?(6) Denver has played really well as a unit. They don't really have the beefy front line starters and are just now gaining the big game experience that the Steelers and Ravens have. You have to give a lot of credit to this coaching staff and the players for executing as well as they have.

My obvious interest is to see if the Pats are really any better on the back end of their defense. Meriweather has been drawing a lot of praise lately; this game could show if it's been misguided. The Pats have invested a lot of resources on their Secondary, this Colts offense will be a great test.

 Won't tell me much other than confirm the fact that Revis is elite. There's no shame in joining a list of Moss, AJ, and Colston, who people seem to be forgetting that put up another poor week against Revis.

3/4 - just keep in mind these are in Pittsburgh and Indianapolis. Are the Saints going to throw when they don't have to?How is the Titans secondary going to hold up against good WRs even if the QB is lousy?Detroit can shock the world. How much does LT have left?

I agree with the above.. and apply it to Chad Schillens (sp?) in OAK as well. No matter how good the WR is.. when J Russell overthrows everyone by 20 yards it doesn't matter who's playing WR.two others:

Will Chris Chambers pull his usual disappearing act or did he get a wake up call by being cut by SD?

Will M. Floyd step it up as starter in SD.

Things I will learn today:

1) Even though I have scored the most points in our league and am the bottom of my division at 4-5, I will learn to lose all over again.

2) How it never gets old watching my opponent who couldn't otherwise score more than 30 points in my league (standard format) have a career day against me playing with tier 3 and 4 players. Next week he will go back to losing because, of course, he's NOT playing against me.

3) How much I am really fooling myself into thinking I am good at this FF thing, even after playing for 14 years.

1. Can Betts have a late season run a la 2006 to help fantasy owners and maybe stake a claim to this RB job next year?

2. Does Green Bay start to unravel now that Rodgers is getting criticized and the fans are ready to turn on him?

3. Can Stafford/Calvin/KSmith build some second half momentum?

4. How will NO D function without Sharper - do they regress without him?

5. Can TB carry over the momentum from win one? who becomes Freeman's go-to guy?

6. ARI RB split start to tilt towards Beanie? Boldin ready to catch fire in 2nd half playing angry?

Buffalo quietly has one of the best pass defenses in the league (and the worst run defense). I SERIOUSLY doubt that Britt will have all that good of a game. I do expect a HUGE game for Chris Johnson. But if Britt has a big game against Buffalo, he'll certainly have earned a starting role. But I would be REALLY surprised if he did.

I think today we'll learn if Chris Chambers and Miles Austin are mirages.
I can already tell you the answer with Miles Austin. He's a 4 week fluke ;-)Seriously, if you can't spot a trend in the NFL you should stop playing fantasy.
15874?10651?2501716149?Targets, catches, yards. See any trends there?
How is this for a trend that requires far less homework: 4 games, at least 1 TD in each game. If you're going to use the term "mirage", it's been debunked already. The Eagles gave the primary coverage to Austin as well - tried to remove him from the game. He still scored. You will see his looks decrease as defenses do more to stop him, but Austin = mirage is totally laughable.

I just think it's funny that you said "if you can't spot a trend then you should stop playing fantasy", while simultaneously being blind to the TREND of Austin's decreased targets, catches, and yards.Oh, but at least he catches a TD in every game! Right Mr. Boerigter??

Luckily, I didn't make the call that he might be a "mirage". That's the only statement I took issue with. I don't need to look at his targets to see the relevant trend that would tell me if he's a mirage. If you had said that you don't think Austin will ever put up the numbers from his first two starts this again this season, I would have had no issue. I didn't need to look at the stats you looked up to know that his targets have been going down - I watched the game against Philly and saw him being shut out for 3 quarters. However, that's not at issue. What is at issue is if he's a mirage or not. You're changing the subject because you know that 4 starts for 6 TDs and at least 1 TD in each game is all we need to know. He's not a mirage, period.

MSW>>Moss, AJ, Colston because of one week? No, but the kid's good, get on board.
