Not sure where to put this, but it's kind of amazing. I don't think we really have a thread pertaining to NGO culture. AIPAC, Project for a New American Century, Center for American Progress, CNAS, WINEP- there's a gazillion of these things in Washington that get money from bigtime lobbies, and in turn provide the intellectual/diplomatic underpinning for their policy preferences. Anyway.
Muslim organizations are demanding that the centerleft think tank Center for American Progress, run by Neera Tanden, explain why they self-censored a chapter about Michael Bloomberg's Muslim surveillance program from their 2015 Islamophobia report.

How long can we go before @neeratanden is forced to answer for this? She was on MSNBC the other day talking about Bloomberg and @chucktodd didn’t even bring it up.
